No, never watched Avatar. Looked like it sucked.
As I said, 3D sucks. It has nothing at all to do with this being a Sony thing. That just makes it more laughable though. If this was made by Microsoft, I would have said the same thing.
The 360 does support 3D, though few games use it. Bullshit on you never watching Avatar.
Why is he a sheep? Because he has brand loyalty to a product that is A. more popular, B. superior, C. more consumer friendly? If you believe he's a sheep for those reasons, your the idiot. Don't you realize your a dumber sheep with a smaller flock? I'm not trying to play "console fanboy" with you, because honestly, it's stupid. Nation, your alright, but give this Sony-Microsoft thing a rest. You're "Microsoft E3" thread,...fuck is all I got to say. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the fact of the matter in any consumer oriented business is that the common denominator is ALWAYS correct. The 360 is a superior system for plenty of reasons, from the superior Online experience, to the massive game library to the price, to the peripherals being cooler to the security issues. I'm sorry, it doesn't matter what hardcore gamers really think, they will always be there, just like in wrestling, music and other forms of entertainment. What matters is the average consumer who doesn't spend mass amounts of their lives playing games and what they think and how the companies are going to get their money because the guys like you already are sold.
Take a joe schmo like me, I had loyalty to Sony. I was going to buy a PS3, but they priced themselves out of my wallet and forced me to Microsoft. I've even borrowed homie's PS3 trying to convince myself it was worth buying. It's not, if you have one, and are the casual gamer, you really don't need the other. Throw in the bland and limited online experience, the security issues and really their only exclusive that is awesome is Little Big Planet, you have the turning of the tide. Sony is 3rd place. Face it, you have a third place system, and there is nothing wrong with that, but you can't really try and rub shit in people's faces when there isn't any to rub. Peep is no more a sheep than you are, you just baaa loud as fuck and the farmer is preparing to take you to market. Watch out.
He is a sheep because he had a PS3 and for awhile he would rag on the 360 up until his friends made him buy a 360 and ever since he has made a complete 180 on the status of the two consoles. In general, he is a sheep who will follow the crowd. Lol, PlayStation is a much more household name, easily. Everyone knows what it is and everyone owned a PS2. The PS3 hasn't reached that success because it was over priced for years. PlayStation is the biggest household name in gaming. Nintendo is a house hold name but the actual name in general, PlayStation everyone knows what that is. I'm not being a "fanboy" about this, name wise PlayStation is the most popular term related to gaming. Superior? lmao. It's not. PS3 takes every category besides online. Hardware, software, extra features, entertainment value, bang for your buck, free online vs. payed online, graphics, etc. It's just a fact that it has much more to offer in just about every category. If you live Halo/Gears or the XBox Live interface, I understand that and I know that it's just a bit late in this generation to switch over most online players from Live to PSN. The actually do like XBox for the few advantages it has.
The 360 does have a massive game library but I'm sorry. Easily, most are all multi-platforms games with few quality exclusives. You have all of the Halo games, the Gears trilogy, Fable but that's on the verge of being threatened, Forza(if you can't get Gran Turismo, it's the best copy), Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Left 4 Dead and that's about it. A handful of those games aren't even AAA titles. The PS3 just easily wins the game library battle. I think the PS3 has too many exclusives, that's how much there is. I can't get around to playing all the good exclusives and keep up with releases. If you want to use the case of Live vs. PSN, go for it, it's absolutely justified. But if you want to talk about games library, sorry but it's a joke. Your console thrives off exclusives and it's all about games. You get a console to play games so having the most and highest quality of exclusives is the biggest advantage you can get.
Hardcore gamers do matter and I'm not even a hardcore games, I try to be but I can't keep up with everything. I don't even have Red Dead yet. Who do you think all of these matures games are for? The hardcore gamers. Yes, most people play casually but those aren't casual soft players. If you're looking for them, look at all the kiddie, childish, workout games. That's Wii vs. Kinect vs. Move. The actual causal players in terms of how often they play still matter because of the occasional huge release that finally gets them to take a look. I can give you a massive list of games to play if you really find LBP to be the only awesome exclusive.
I'm well aware of all the issues the PS3 has faced due to price issues and how many consumers were lost. I understand that many people wanted to buy a PS3 but choose the latter cheaper option. Most of those people are well aware of all the reasons to buy a PS3 from the exclusives to Blu-Ray but I know some people just don't go out and get one. Security issues? That's over with. At the time during the whole situation, it was a huge problems but it's since been resolved. The limited online experience is ridiculous. The PSN has plenty of services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, CinemaNow, MLB TV, NHL gamecenter, qriocity, Home, the same video store, etc. Hulu Plus was exclusive to PSN for awhile and the majority of services are exclusive to PSN or remain that way for awhile. More consumers to try their services with, thanks to PSN.
BUT TEH PS3 HAZ A BLU RAY PLAYER!!!!!!! THAT ALONE MAKES IT THE BETTER CONSOLE!!!!!11!~~
I don't even remember saying this, if I was I was trolling, if anyone did it was probably you, Lol.
