Title kind of says it, but to expound on it a bit more, what are some songs that have a personal effect on you or is something you either still listen to or used to listen to at a time in your life where it was kind of therapeutic or helped release specific emotions for you? Think songs that make you cry, extremely happy, or otherwise help make you feel better. I'll go ahead and start.

Maybe a bit cliche but this song really helped me through a tough time in my life between 2018-2020, and it still is in my opinion a very beautiful song with incredible lyrical advice.

Even though I have a really strained relationship with my mother, I’m glad she survived the crash this song talks about. The crying baby mentioned in it is her, the song is about a real life event that happened. If she died, I wouldn’t be here today.

This is the incident

Most people might know that I'm proud of my Puerto Rican heritage and both my Mom and Dad drilled in all kinds of Spanish Music. I'm the only one of the four Boys to keep that Torch going but my younger Brother Anthony might be coming with me with that after he's gotten into it the past few Months. Anyways this Song means alot to me we played this Song in the Summer of 06 when my Mother fell into a Coma after Alcohol Abuse with Vodka. We didn't know if she would wake up it was that bad and me being 16 or 17 I had to step up and take care of my three younger Brothers at the time because my Dad had to go to work. So I had to make sure they ate, had their Clothes ironed etc worrying about them first before myself. It's about a relationship but the guy is telling the person he's in a relationship with that no matter what I will keep on going and I will return. We'll wait for her to return and we'll be here when she returns. Probably hours after we played that in her Room she woke up and she told us that even though she was out she would see us in a sense and hear the Music.

I already thought this Song was touching of Gaga doing it for her Auntie on her Father's side and that hits home mo like it does even more with the loss of my Brother Chris which is coming up on Thanksgiving making it 4 Years.
