Something new.

So yea I got bored and was trying to think of what could be done to boost activity in the Music section and had a wierd idea pop into my head. I figured instead of another set of Rate the somethings which are over used, Yes even by me. Why not take a band and then have IWF choose a lets say about 12 song greatest hits for diffrent bands.

For those of you wondering how it would work. I would great a thread like "Great Hits - "Insert Band Name"" and then you all just go and post between 1-12 of your favorite songs by the band. After that we will take the 12 top songs and that will be the greatest hits of the band as choosen by IWF. Now for the really cool part after that I will take the track list we came up with and make a cd of it and upload it to Rapidshare or something like that. As a way to help members not so into the band get into it.

So what cha think. Anything we should add. Take away or what?

Sounds like a cool idea to me, if it's a band i like, i'd be sure to make a list of songs.

that would be a pretty good idea, there's tons of bands that haven't had a greatest hits set yet, or their new stuff wasn't on it.
