There are some rumblings in the WWE office that the company is close or at least closer than they ever have been to establishing a physical Hall of Fame in the city of Orlando, Florida. Apparently negotiations have been going on for some time now.

Details are sketchy right now but word is that Orlando officials want to host WrestleMania 2 times every 10 years as part of the deal. It’s said that talks are serious right now and Triple H is handling a lot of the negotiations. However, nothing is expected to happen on the ground at a potential Hall of Fame location until late 2013 or early 2014.

The establishing of a physical Hall of Fame in Orlando may also be tied in with some major developmental changes in the state of Florida. This wasn’t mentioned by a source but it sounds like WWE is trying to set up another central location for the company outside of Stamford.

Have at it.

I honestly think they should put it in a growing city or a city that can use the financial help. Plus, Florida is a bad area because of storms.

Florida has a lot of hot chicks so i wouldnt mind going there 2 times every 10 years. It's just a shame that the physical HOF will be there. I wish it was somewhere on the northeast coast.

Florida is logical as well though. It's a popular tourism state, with tons of visitors each month. It is also a big wrestling state with a long, long history. And if they want to establish a second HQ there I think it is smart to combine it with a HOF to distinguish it from Stamford

That's a good point, but the northeast is more synonymous with wrestling than the south east now. Plus when you think of Florida, you think Disney World, not WWE HOF. I wouldn't call it tourist trap material. If anything it should be right by Titan Towers, it'd be a good thing to show off when business partners come to HQ

Yeah, it'd make sense for the WWE HoF to be on the Northeast.
