Any predictions, anticipation, or Ideas of whats to come? He was very impressive, though he was used to make Shelton Benjamin look good as a "jobber". He still takes some of the best looking bumps in the industry in my opinion, and is a pretty versatile guy, though he has a small frame. He even drew a small "Matt Sydal" chant, which is pretty rare for relatively "unknown" competitors. If WWE doesn't use him immediately, they're pretty much blind. This kid can go.

With the news of a possible stable on the way, maybe he'll play a part in that? Maybe he'll be thrown in another tag-team (as always) what do you guys think?

I haven't seen him yet, as I don't watch ECW regularly, but I don't think I'd mind if he was DiDiase Jr.'s tag partner for NOC. I think he could pull off a good heel with him.

I didnt get to see ECW, but from hat i heard, he wasnt just a jobber. I heard they actually talked about his past and let him get in some good offense and stuff, which means hes probably there to stay.

Now, as for what he'll do, I doubt he'll be in thatstable. because unless they change,, its about 2nd and 3rd Gen stars, not just young guys.
But I thought that maybe, they could have the 2nd and 3rd Gen stars form a stable, and have a few other young guys who arent 2nd gen stars (dykstra, sydal, Kingston, etc) form their own alliance to feud with the 2nd gen stable, like over why they werent allwoed in.

Thats wishful thinking though. But if theat doesnt happen I see him staying on ECW til the end of the year, some lower card feuds and then moving to SD. But from what Ive heard, hes good in the ring,a nd thats a good sign!

He was amazing! The only problem is that we all know Vince isn't a fan of flashy fast-pased wrestlers, so let's just hope he can break the mold.

He might be good in a feud with Shelton at some point.

Nah, he jobbed. Match went on for about 4 minutes, and he lost after being Powerbombed into Kingston, who was doing guest commentary. They really didn't mention his past at all. They made a small comment about him wrestling in Japan, but that was about it. He had no theme music, nor entrance. It actually seemed like a tryout match, to be quite honest. He impressed me, but I've always been a Sydal fan, so I'm biased. lol

I'm pretty sure whatever they do with him, it will somehow involve tag-team wrestling. I hate to say he's too small, but he's fucking tiny. I mean, he's ripped. You can definitely see his abs or whatever, but he's super small. Colin D. already plays the underdog role, right? I would say pair them together, but that would be a huge styles clash, and It wouldn't work at all.

Although I didn't see it, I read the results and heard he jobbed (as Rell said). Personally, I think ECW could use some young talent, and calling Matt Sydal up could fix the problem as he is one of the most athletic WWE developmental guys. If WWE called him and Afa Anoai Jr., I'd totally watch it more often.

I was really surprised that Sydal got some offense in, it's great for him. If he does become a serious regular, he would be a nice change of pace with his style, even if it's "dangerous" I could see him being in a "future stars" stable if it happens, he could be the high flyer of the combination of the group. (I'm thinking back to his Generation Next days).

Well if WWE was going to follow up with this thing that Randy Orton asked Batista at ONS about teaming together and making a faction to be the leaders, Maybe Matt Sydal could be the rookie of the faction kinda like how Orton was with Evolution when they started, I am going to watch ECW just to see how he does :)

Sydal looked impressive as always. He sold well, and bumped well. I love Sydal, but I fear that he won't fit in on WWE TV. His style is so flashy and different. It could either be accepted, or frowned upon by people like HHH. I'm hoping he impresses them.

Yet to see him in action, regardless of the fed, but if they draft Rey to ECW like I hope, then it sounds like Sydall would make the perfect apponent.

Hometown Kid

The kid definitely has "it" you know? To be honest he reminded me a lot of a smaller version of the guy standing across the ring from him on Tuesday. But I fear a similar thing could happen as BKB said the Bigwigs like Vince and Hunter will push him to a similar fate as Shelton...I hope not because the guy has something they don't teach at wrestling school and maybe WWE Champ may be wishful thinking he deserves at least an upper mid-card push.

World champ might be stretching it, but the guy is one of the most talented guys in the world. The wwe appears to be in love with the guy, considering his size. He won the OVW in a month, Debuted on WWE television in 6-8 months, which is pretty good considering Colt Cabana has yet to debut. And matt sydal is pretty small too, for the wwe's liking.

I'd like to see get a good shot at everything. Give him a singles run in ECW, although i could see them teaming him and colin delaney. Then i could see him going to a faction of younger guys, if they go with that idea. Then maybe a new CW division.

Three Cheers for Sydal. A younger verison of AJ Styles.

I could seriously see Matt Sydal as ECW champion. Sure, the dude's is small, but he brings a totally unique style that the fans can like (As evidenced by their reactions on ECW). Chances are we'll see him in a tag team (Shocking, I know >_>) further down the line.

Of course, all of this is assuming that he'll be back on TV and that this wasn't a one-time deal. Though the fact that he wasn't actually pinned leads me to believe we'll be seeing more of him.
