So as seen on RAW, Brock Lesnar has declared himself the #1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will face the winner of the said match between Randy Orton & John Cena that takes place at the Royal Rumble although I don't believe it was established when he would want the match.

He then went onto to destroy Mark Henry as in Heyman's words "Someone needed to be made an example of." In an interview with Michael Cole on wwe.com he confirmed that Brock would be at next week's Old School RAW and planned on doing something Old School.

So, does anyone believe that they will have Brock go after the WWEWHC or do you think it's just a red herring that's been thrown out there to divert attention away from the rumoured Taker match until he's ready to show up?

Looks to me like they're setting up Brock's WM match the same way they set it up in 2004 for WM20. He'll get a title match at the Elimination Chamber PPV and someone will cost him the match, keeping him looking strong and giving him a non-title feud.

I think he gets a title match. Why not have him get it in Minnesota for the chamber ppv? It is. Brock's hometown and an event with a cage, so it seems like a good lil monkey wrench so people dont get set on the idea of he works Mania, ER, and SSlam. It would be a coup to spread out his dates a little bit better and maybe Brock's more willing to play ball after watching Silvia give him a reality check of mma may not be best for him anymore, wwe is and he should stay there past wm31 .... Network launch may want to make them monetize one last Brock ppv appearance and have something to discuss if it is truly launched the day after the chamber like talked about

Something tells me they do this weekly deal where someone comes out trying to shut him up and challenge him for the front of the line until he has decimated a few guys, maybe even takes out Cena... and then suddenly when nobody is left, here comes The Undertaker.

I wouldn't be the least bit shocked, however, if this does turn into a triple threat or fatal 4-way for the strap at Mania where Brock doesn't even have to do the job to lose.

Him challenging at the Chamber seems likely. Undertaker costing it would be fun but how would they explain that one unless Brock says something about 'Taker before hand

MAybe, now just maybe. Brock gets Batista after facing he cheats him out of beating Orton for the title, Brock would be massively over in Minnesota, so why fight it? Brock vs Batista, and we can say Trips paid Dave to help out his old Evolution team member, and Big Dave is all about the money. Brock gets Dave, Punk gets Trips, Bryan gets Orton to finally get that title and Cena gets Taker and WWE beats Mania 23 buyrates.....boom goes the dynamite

I like spots of it, but to be honest the wwe title match is probably the 1st hour main event in status with those alignments. I like the matchups though

I don't think so, if Bryan is "over" as much as people seem to think, that Mania crowd should deliver an epic fucking pop for him even when Taker/Cena steals the show and Punk/Trips bore them to death and everyone loses their minds for Brock/Dave. Could totally make Bryan look like a made man if he ends the show holding those titles.

You greatly underestimate how over triple h is in Louisiana. These are the people who once filled an arena and chanted pedigree when he returned vs Legacy. He and Michaels are so madly over and I've seen them in BR, NOLA, Laffy, Alex, and Bossier City. Its ridiculous how over he is even when playing the heel.

Randy will have to cut down on them sleepers and wrestle a quicker tempo than their raw match

Just going by Triple H's track record, aside from his Taker matches, he is just boring at Mania, I actually fell asleep during HHH/Orton. His match with Brock almost did the same thing and I'm a major Brock fan.

Trips teased a chamber match in his interview with Cole. Randy, Batista, Brock, Cena, and the midgets. That just leaves you guessing about the rumble, unless Taker pops up

Chamber legitimately hurts, not sure Trips would be dumb enough to put the big names in there before Mania, Guessing it's a red herring. Still think Chamber match should be for IC and US title. Brock/Orton sell the PPV themselves, just unify those belts with a stipulation match and maybe that guy actually gets on Mania.

I wouldn't be opposed to 2 chambers, one for the IC/us belts and one for the tag titles.it sounds good on paper, but Brock, Batista, Orton, Cena, Bryan, and Punk is a gambling mans match before mania

Fuck 2 chambers for the midcard stuff, the only reason they can do a main event one (providing that indeed is it) is because 2 part timers are filling spots.
