SmackDown's new GM announced

Just received the following mobile alert from WWE:

BREAKING NEWS: Mr. McMahon will name the new General Manager of SmackDown at tonight's live event, and there is strong speculation it will be Booker T.

Now, I don't think that first part is breaking news, because didn't they announce that on last night's Raw? Anyway, the last part about Booker T. makes me figure it won't be him, but the announcement should be made tonight.

It'll be spoiled in a few hours so we'll know. Yeah, this was on RAW last night. It's nice to have a thread though so we can speculate who we think it'll be. If it wasn't for that text I would have said Booker T too, I still think it might be him though. Perhaps it's Michael Cole?

I won't know what to think if it is Cole. I was wondering about Booker T., as well, and he could still be the one. They may have included that to swerve us, but I felt like they wouldn't have mentioned the speculation about him if it were going to be him. Those alerts are interesting though and have tipped me off about things ahead of time before, so there's no telling. Unless it's going to be one of the other previous GM's, I'm not sure who to expect.
