The place so nice they named it twice...new york,
The supplemental draft may be tomorrow but the draft on Monday made it clear with Batista, Edge, JBL return rumors, MVP, Undertaker and now the addition of Flair, Masters & The Great Khali does it seem like Smackdown is overpowering network TV and becoming the #1 show in WWE? Sure seems like it but what do you think?

ive always thought SD was the A show... but after the draft Raw got some good stars. hopefully they will use them right. but i am excited about the Supplemental draft. that should help all 3 brands really well.

Yeah booking will play a HUGE part in SD's overall ranking, but they can be the A show. Now will they is a different question altogether.

While SD may have Edge, Kane, Batista, Henry, MVP, Hardy, returning Mysterio, the ever persistent JBL rumors, Taker eventually.

Raw has Cena, Lashley, Orton, Carlito, Umaga, Booker, returning Kennedy, & HHH, HBK eventually.

So its not exactly lopp-sided either way, both shows have injuries, up and coming stars, and a stacked mainevent scene. Wrestling wise SD may be the best but I'm not ready to say its the "A" show just yet.

i tihnk it is getting better, the booking is good and their matches are getting better. Having Edge on smackdown was a great desicion on SD part. I just think smackdown needs 1 or 2 more main eventers since batista might lose the match who will be next in line, but still only a couple of things need some help. The Crusierweight championship needs more credit cruiserweight matches get the fans going and gets the ratings up too but not with jimmy wang yang or chavo i dont think chavo has many cruiserweight moves in his arsinal and jimmy wang yang has a dumb gimmick and to me is un professional and that match last night was great jamie noble and good in ring wrestler davari is good in ring i liek davari shannon moore one of my faves he is very good in ring and diserves a shot at the title and jimmy i do not like him at all and i hope when rey comes back he is put into the cruiserweight division and hoping soon london and kendrick get out of the tag division and to the cruiserweight division and with gregory gone mroe names can be put into the title seen but if WWE uses them right they could be a actually good division its not them being bad they are all good its the booking and storylines and who is in the matches witch makes it bad and with the USA championship finally taking some credit into SD MVP has some great opponent such as ric flair, chris masters, the miz, finlay, all good wrestlers and maybe soon to be batista if he loses his belt and i like the MVP vs Batista matches. so smackdown is getting better no doubt

Raw got some good stars??? Lashley and Snitsky?? They got Kennedy, but thats it.....Booker is just "average" IMO and just doesnt have that "it" factor anyomre.....ECW in my book has become the best brand. They got rid of Lashley and Snitsky and Added Benoit. Big plus for ECW

Ok no matter how good SD gets or how many stars they get....SD will NEVER be the A show.Smackdown just has that poorly produced feeling to it becuase its on one of the worst stations on network TV.Now Raw on the other hand has that big atmosphere feeling to it it dosent matter if the Main Event has Snitsky vs Umaga its still the A show.

ALthough I love SD and its a 20X better show..itll never be the A show.

well i hope da wwe draft tomorrow is good... hopefully sum good ppl get drafted to SD tho, like ma man RKO, or say what if cena gets drafted to SD, still fights in da championship challenge thing at Vengeance, loses to say idk Lashley, goes on obviously like I said to SD!, and feuds wit edge there, wins da title, and den has a face vs face feud with Bastista... with returning 619 soon, and taker eventually, da ratings would be sweet so yea

I would just like to point out that if any of you like RAW better then Smackdown your more of an entertainment fan then a wrestling fan. Sorry but it's the truth. So obviously more of the WWE fans would rather see entertainment then wrestling which is a truely disappointing thing.

MattHardyV1 hit the nail on the head. No matter what SD! does, it could never surpass Raw as the A show. WWE have always presented Raw as its #1 show and that will always be the case. Having Raw air live creates a great atmosphere when watching the shows, something which can't be replicated for SD!, due to the fact it is poorly produced and a large chunk of the audience will have read the spoilers to the show before it airs.

Also, the biggest stars are always on Raw. Just look at the Draft last week as proof for that (Raw got Kennedy/Booker/Lashley, wheras SD! got Khali/Masters).

Smackdown! got worse because of the draft....Benoit and Kennedy left which is a huge blow to the brand, and what did it get in return? Khali? Masters? Honestly, Smackdown! got screwed in the draft so im hopin some more talented wrestlers head to Smackdown! sunday on the draft on wwe.com

I beleive Smackdown is the A Show and has been the A show since the start of 2007, Smackdown is the number one wrestling show going, Smackdown has more wrestling than Raw and ECW and had the better matches. Look at Smackdown now and the talent it has Edge, Batista, MVP, Chavo, Wang Yang, Flair, Masters, Torrie Wilson, Ashley, Jillian, Michelle McCool, London, Kendrik, Undertaker, Matt Hardy and Mark Henry, Also Smackdown has some wrestlers to star in the future such as Duece & Domino and The Miz if he keeps improving. A return from JBL on Smackdown is likely soon and that can only make Smackdown better, Smackdown is the A Show.
