Smackdown moving to USA network

Huh, so USA will have RAW, Smackdown, and a new Tough Enough show with WWE. :damn:

USA Network is building a WWE franchise with three series. The cable network already is the longtime home of Monday Night Raw and recently announced that it would be bringing back reality competition series WWE Tough Enough with a new format. Now USA also will carry WWE SmackDown starting the first quarter of 2016.SmackDown — which had aired on UPN, the CW and MyNetworkTV — has been on USA sibling Syfy since 2010.

Probably, but I never minded it. It's not the flagship show and I try to take that into consideration. I usually have it on in the background while I do other stuff anyway.

The optimist in me says this will be positive for Smackdown since it puts it infront of A LOT more eyes than what Syfy could provide. And with the relationship between the USA network and WWE being what it is, WWE will be forced to step up to plate.

The realist in me says wait and see.

I'm sure USA Network is giddy knowing they'll now have two separate nights where one of their shows is #1 in the ratings. Beyond that, there's no reason to think the quality of the show will change any.

• When SmackDown moves to the USA Network next year, apparently we can expect WWE to start acknowledging both of its weekly programs in an increased creative effort to both build and payoff one another.

I've seen talk of storylines carrying over. So something starts on RAW and ends on Smackdown. Which could be what they are talking about.

Either that or a continuing of the soft brand split they have now. Using Bryan, Ziggler, Ambrose and Sheamus on Smackdown

As long as it's a taped show it will never get the ratings they want it to.

Make the show live again WWE.. Changing what segments are on the show will mean nothing as long as people can read spoilers.

So it's come to my attention that I don't get smackdown anymore. I saw the last one before Wm and that was the first time in a loooong time. The last two weeks I can't seem to find it anywhere. I live in Canada if that makes a difference lol
