New information has surfaced from Revenge Labs and Konami indicating that it's possible the artsy new fighting game, Skullgirls, might be landing on digital e-tailer shelves early this April.
The information tip comes courtesy of our good pals over at XBLA Fans, who noticed the mysterious listing on the Xbox Live Marketplace where the April 4th date popped up. According to XBLA Fans the talk around the town has leaned towards a possible March or April release date for the 2D fighter and if the listing proves true, it's entirely possible that gamers could be brushing up their down-to-forward skills in Skullgirls early next month.
The game itself has recently been rated by the ESRB, which leads many to believe that the release date is sooner rather than later. The only problem is that submitting in a content report to the ESRB doesn't really necessitate that development is complete or the game is readily balanced. It's a difficult thing to gauge nonetheless.
So far, requests have been made to both Revenge Labs and Konami and as soon as they clarify (if they clarify) the release stance for the upcoming game, we'll be sure to update you as soon as possible
