Siyar Bahadurzada has been waiting to come over to North America and fight for a long time, and now it seems that he will finally get his chance. Bahadurzada, who apparently was signed to Strikeforce before but had a big conflict with Scott Coker over the contract, announced on twitter today that he has signed with the UFC. The Golden Glory member has mentioned before that he had been in talks with the organization for a little while now. Here's what he had to say today:

Bahadurzada is the reigning Shooto light heavyweight (183 lb.) champion, but has competed mostly at welterweight lately and would be a 170 pounder in the UFC. He most recently won an 8-man United Glory welterweight tournament by defeating Tommy Depret in the final and is on a six-fight win streak. He is an Afghani native who currently resides in the Netherlands, and is one of Jason "Mayhem" Miller's assistant coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 14. The UFC has no officially announced the signing as of yet.
