Sid Vicious just concluded a conference call with the media. Sid announced that he is returning to the squared circle for the NWA. Sid will be apart of the NWA Showcase television tapings on 4/18 at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island and 4/19 at the Oceanfront Arena in Wildwood, NJ. “When I think of wrestling, I think of Harley Race and the NWA,â€￾ said Vicious during the conference call.

“My ultimate goal is to get back to the WWE,â€￾ said Vicious to my question regarding his future in the business. Sid said he did have contact with WWE last year. Sid also said he told TNA he wasn't interested in them because of their 'small format.'

Sid said he didn’t want to go out the way he did with his horrific leg injury in WCW. Sid said he is training about six to seven hours a day.

I respect that he didn't want to go out with that leg injury. He sounds like he is in really good shape too. I'd love to see come back on RAW as Psycho Sid. Or perhaps he could go to Smackdown instead of raw but right now there's quite a lot of big men on Smackdown. Well i really could care less what he will go by and what brand he will be on i just want to see him come back.

It would be pretty cool to see him back. Hope to see him in WWE later this year. I guess on SmackDown, just because their main event stocks are low

How old is he? The only thing good I can see him doing is a very short rivalry with Taker. But thats it.

Holy shit, I just saw that video of him breaking his leg for the first time, that was insane. He's lucky he can even walk anymore, jesus.

Training six-seven hours a day? Jesus, after his leg injury I thought he was finished... But obviously I was wrong...

It'll be good to see him in the ring again, and maybe he might be even better than he was ten years ago!

God, I hope not. Their match at WM13 was dull as fuck!

Sid's great.... Until he climbs through the ropes.

Only good match I ever seen him in was against HBK @ RR97 (Hmmm.... Wonder why??? SS96 was ok, but the match kinda got derailed when most of the crowd turned on Shawn.)

I saw the leg break live on TV and it was one of the grossest things I have ever seen. My brother and I both stood up from the couch and point at the TV when it happened saying Oh My GOD!!!

Good for Sid, I wouldn't want to end my career on that note either best of luck to him.

omfg please stay far far away from the wwe/tna

No one's gonna cheer for him coming back, because no one wants to see him on TV anymore. On the second thought, let him back in the WWE, and see if we really care about his comeback, and see how much more damage it'll do to WWE. TNA can have him.
