OK, we all know Gunner Scott was Chris Benoit's protegé, so much that WWE said that he was TOO much like Chris Benoit and they released him (may not have been for that reason). Well, obviously they wouldn't have to worry about him stepping on Benoit's toes, and since he has a very similar style he could fill the void to an extent. Obviously he wouldn't be able to return right away because of his ROH commitments, but maybe if and when those are out of the way?

What do you guys think? Could and/or should he be the next Chris Benoit (in the good way)?

He would be a great (re) signing for WWE and I personally don't know why they released him. They could've sent him to ECW to develop his wrestling skills near the main event and move him to SD! so he is more of an equal to Benoit (at the time, obviously) than a protege. i can't see them resigning him but I hope they do.

I would sign him up instantly. From what I have seen of him (in WWE and various indie matches), he seems like a very sound wrestler and could be somewhat successful in WWE (although his lack of charisma would hold him back). Nobody will be able to fill the huge void Benoit's death has left, but he could certainly take over his role on the roster, so a certain extent.

No No No i would not hire him back. The guy had no charisma and no character. But he was a good wrestler. Just push charlie haas then its the exact same thing. :)

I personally am a huge fan of albright. I would love to see him back in the WWE but he's fine right where he is at in ROH. Also he has thrown his name in the vacant NWA title hunt.
