As a fan, no. Watching NXT join Raw in botching PPV build would be pretty painful. #NoConfidenceInCreative
Plus I don't think the fans will buy the NXT title as a serious championship (similar to the WWECW title). However, it could replace one of the pointless filler matches that are standard with PG PPV's.

But then again, it can get more people watching NXT, and throwing these guys in front of PPV audiences to gauge the way the crowd responds to them can be a great way to judge how much of a talent these guys are.

But, then again, the show doesn't air on TV here in the States so the casuals here would miss all the build to that match, and with all the NXT stuff taken off the website casuals probably don't even know the show exists anymore, so don't say "just Youtube it". Maybe they can throw an "NXT Rebound" into the 3 Hour Raw... or convince MyNetworkTV to take NXT and Superstars since that station's been floundering ever since Smackdown left.

Guess I broke the WWEForums record for most comma's in a post. Woo.

"NXT Creative" so far have made an awesome show. To be honest not even WWE fuck up on PPV's much any more apart from the Cena win over Brock etc. Not sure how much can go wrong in one championship match anyway for NXT.

You can easily change that. But WWE sucks at doing so, so I see your point.

Definitely. A live audience on a big PPV is a great test and a great advertisement for NXT.

Video packages. WWE are the best at video packages anywhere, I swear. But they don't do enough of them for other feuds. TNA I think has a video package for every feud before the match at their PPV's, WWE should follow suit. Video feuds can turn absolute casuals into marks.

Yes. it would be a lot better than shitty filler matches that include an out of shape grown man being forcibly stripped to his underwear

I edited the post above as you were typing this, for this very reason. :)

WWE doesn't really screw up PPV's, as you say, but they don't do a very good job building to them. NXT did a good job writing storylines from week to week to give their matches meaning, but I fear that when they add card structure to the show and start writing for PPV's and not just TV, not only will wwelogic start happening, but so will our smarkish side.

Then again, there's plenty of room for optimism there too. NXT Creative hasn't let us down yet.

Indeed. Most people I saw laughed at the thought of the third world title for ECW, and laughed at ECW in general. I worry that this could be the same thing.

Definitely. A live audience on a big PPV is a great test and a great advertisement for NXT.

At the very least, I'd do it at every other show. How awesome would it have been at No Way Out if we would have had Seth Rollins vs Michael McGillicutty for the NXT Championship instead of the Tuxedo match and Ryback/Sin Cara stuff?

 That would be awesome!

I think Rainman said pretty much everything. It's an upgrade from the useless fillers we have and would be a great place for the young NXT talents to show their talent, but the fans would miss the build up and the title wouldn't be that prestigious to begin with, so... I'm on the fence with this one.
