Man, it's odd that I would ever make a thread on women's wrestling at all, but I was just thinking about the Hart Foundation, and for some reason it came to me that Natalya can't ever win a title while on ECW... I'm thinkin' they should allow women's wrestlers to compete on all 3 shows, or at least have the title holders compete on all 3 shows.
Here's why...
Oddly enough, two of the best wrestling divas are actually on ECW. Right now, Raw has the Divas Championship, and Smackdown has the Women's. While each of those shows has some pretty good wrestlers, with Beth, Mickie, Maryse on Raw, and Melina and Michelle on Raw, two of the best, if not the best, actual wrestlers in the women's division are on ECW -the show that has no title- in Natalya and Katie Lea.
I'm not really a fan of divas' wrestling, as most people know, but if WWE is trying to make their divas division credible, they're sure wasting two of their top talents.
I suppose the only problem would be that they have two titles in the divas division now, and you only really have the champion allowed to defend on all shows if there's only one belt...

I think that it should be, and imo the Diva's title is actually becoming more legit then the Women's title and that is most likely the reason they moved it to Raw.

I agree that it's sad they never used Natalya to her potential on Smackdown and that she should be able to compete for a title, but Katie Lea is pretty much second tier talent, she's only average in the ring and not hot anyway, but even so it's sad to see her wasted.

I agree that she's not hot, but what the hell does that have to do with her being a good wrestler or not?

^^^ Adding on to what he said, that's the main problem with WWE's women's division. People (WWE and fans) focus too much on looks, and not on talent. They are PG now. Now's a perfect opertunity to capitalize on this. They don't do super sexy, bra and panties matches, langeire(sp) pillow fights, etc. anymore. So they don't need to focus on sexy in this division. Talent and skill is what they need, beuty at this point should just be a bonus they get.

As for the topic, no I don't think they should. They just brought in the Diva's title giving the divas division 2 titles. If they do this, there would have been no point in bringing in the diva's title. I would think that if had this thought in mind to have 1 title defended on all shows, they wouldn't have created the Divas title.

With her not being hot, it means the WWE aren't going to push her to the top anyway, as they judge their divas on looks moreso than ring skills. It's not my verdict, its the E's.

Since when has wrestling skill ever gone over looks? If that's true Charlie Haas would be trading the title back and forth with Benjamin and Punk.

Divas title is more over than the Woman's title. Maryse is doin her thing and it's working, since it's debut the Divas title has been more over. I'm not really too focused on who's next up for the title but it'd be interesting on where they take it next because I dont' see anyone in Maryse league right now.

I agree with that sentiment. Besides there are young girls who watch WWE. They should see women who're appreciated for the strength of their skills, rather than treated like superficial sacks of meat. Now that WWE is PG, maybe they can start sending more positive messages to female fans.

Tough question. On one hand, you've got to maintain interest on both shows, and let's face it, the WWE doesn't put much effort into compelling Diva feuds unless the titles involved. Having a unified title means one show is slightly better than the other in terms of womens wrestling, while the other flounders. But it's not much worth having two shitty titles when you could have one semi-prestigious one.

I personally prefer option one, although I'm indifferent. If I ever do watch a Womens match, it's really only ever for the boobies or Gail Kim. She owns.

You mean lack there of.

Molly Holly would be a great example of this but even she quit the E because of how the E treated her. Or perceived her. The fans treated her like shit.

A lot of the fucking titles need to be interpromotional.
