i don't mind peter siddle, but his last 3 performances in the Australian Home Ground 2009/2010 season has been very weak as.

in his Performance:

13 Overs 1/51 Vs West Indies (He got chanderpaul out, But chanderpaul fails on Australian Grounds for some reason)

10 Overs 1/41 Vs West Indies (He got Roach, #10 Batsmen anyone could get him out really)

25 overs 1/92 Vs W/Indies (D.Sammy another full time bowler that can't bat that well, although it was a needed wicket at the time.)

8 overs 0/28 Vs W/Indies (i don't know why he didnt do too much overs in this ininngs maybe injure or ponting didn't have too much faith in him)

24 overs 2/77 Vs Pakistan (Yousuf Pakistan top batsmen and he got asif out. Asif is probably as good batting as Chris Martin is.)

overall: 93 Overs 5/321 average 64.20 s/rate 111.6 Pretty weak stats for a bowler that did pretty well against tougher side (england/South Africa)

i think Australia should give someone else another try, Because he is the lacker in the Test at the moment.

Brett Geeves or Clint Mckay could be another option.

or Peter george/John Hastings/Ben Cutting/Mitchell Starc. But those 4 have only played a handful of games while Geeves/Mckay have played alot and will be experienced enough.

Magoffin could be another choice, but he has be out of form in 1st Class level at the moment.

Dirk Nannes has only played 1 first class game so far. He did pretty decent, if he improves he could be another option.

Peter 'The Great' Siddle should never be dropped. And it has nothing to do with the fact that he's a Victorian. :shifty:

He dropped both Ross Taylor and Dwayne Bravo in the twenty20 a few nights back. I bet he's feeling good about himself right now.

I bet Afridi is feeling pretty good. 4/19 after not getting a run and saving our ass.

So much better than YOUNIS already.

Chris Martin is great!

Btw, don't we have an actual cricket thread around here somewhere that we could be posting in?
