In an interview with About.com, it's noted that Chris Jericho has yet to have face Undertaker in a one-on-one encounter. He's asked to compare ending his undefeated streak at WrestleMania to beating "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock to become the first Undisputed Champion.

"It would be a huge deal. Obviously it would be at the same level," Jericho said. "But Undertaker is still on crutches as we speak so if he was smart he'd would stay on crutches and stay away from me. Now that I'm on his show, it is inevitable that our paths cross. I think he has been coasting for the past few years and has been taking it easy and living on his reputation. I'm not intimidated by him and we'll see what happens once he gets back."

Chris Jericho also said SmackDown is superior to Raw.

"Smackdown is the better show overall. Better performers, better wrestling," Jericho said. "I think it's a much better show. I think a lot of that has to do with the acquisitions of Punk and myself. With Mysterio, Hardy, Edge, and the Undertaker coming back I think there are some great combinations and some great matches to be had."

Jericho also said he's working on a second book through Grand Central Publishing, which published his first book, rather than WWE. He also says WWE ran some movie ideas through him (Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia and The Marine 2), but he wasn't interested.

Work. Jericho would have to be an idiot to mean something like that about a guy like Undertaker.

He's right about Smackdown, there is actually a reason to stay home 'til 10 every Friday night! The Taker comment was obviously a shoot but funny as hell, like something Rampage Jackson would say, the props to Punk was pretty sweet.

Obviously a work. The line after that spells that out clearer than crystal.

Yeah but after that, hes clearly talking out of character about match making. If he was in character the whole time, hed say something like "SD is the best brand because I am on it" not "Guys like me, Punk, Mysterio, and Hardy can have good matches"

Ever read a Randy Orton interview? He goes in and out of character all the time. It's likely the same with this.

It could be a work, but he could really believe what he said about Taker. He wont get heat over it cause he can say he was just being in character.

It is a work, but he is right about some things. Taker has been coasting for awhile. He hasn't had very body enduring matches and hasn't had long matches, but that is to be expected. He has earned it all though. He has been so loyal to the company and stood with them thick and thin.

Lol, that was the whole point. He went in and out of character, to confuse people like you. It worked. Clearly a work, but a good one. Either way, I can't wait for a feud between these two.

You're worse then those internet reporters. Undertaker has been raising talent for the past few years. His work these past years have been more important then his whole ABA gimmick. He's been working, hard on getting unover guys well, over.

people like me? What? Black people? :native:

But in all seriousness, I think Jericho meant every word that he said, and since he is "under" the Undertaker, he cant really say that so instead it gets convoluted in a "promo"
