What moment or incident defines TNA wrestling? A signing? A match? There are some very humble beginnings to speak of and growth to match it. I some that really jump out.

Christian Cage debuting. I really became a fan in late 2004 of the Captain and followed him directly to TNA. I watched only to see his matches and high holy shit did it grow on me!

Bound For Glory 2006 held in Detroit. What a great night in the brief TNA history! The largest crowd they've had, 4,000 I believe, and some amazing matches. Plus it was Kurt Angle's ppv debut.

Jeff Jarrett taking time off after the aforementioned BFG. He believed his product was ready without him and did the right thing.

This is a TNA thread. I have no clue why I posted what I did because it had nothing to do with TNA, or the topic itself. I should really consider myself lucky for not receiving another infraction.

Not true for me anyway. Christian winning the title was very big in February 2006 because of what happened to him a few months prior. He was in a big match with Cena and Jericho and then JBL and Batista and finds himself back in the low card for inexplicable reasons.

The sight of the fans filling the ring was pretty great and you couldn't help but feel good for the guy. He deserved it.

I'll even throw in Rhino's win at BFG in 05. I know he's not a marquee name but Rhino seems like a team player. He also had 3 matches that night.

Elix Skipper walking the cage and doing the Frankensteiner.

I would also add Daniels/Styles and Joe when they just tore the house down at I think it was Unbreakable. They put on one of the best matches in wrestling that year, and what is in my opinion the greatest straight-up wrestling match in TNA's history.

There are way to many to go into deatail about, but some that pop into my mind right now would have to be:

-Elix Skipper walking the top of the cage at Turning Point '04.
-3 Way X division match at Unbreakable in 2005.
-The signing of Christian Cage
-The evolution of the X-Division
-Jeff Jarrett (lol)

If I think of more, Ill post them.

My favourite ever moment in TNA history would have to be the Triple threat match between AJ/Joe/Daniels at Unbreakable, that match was amazing.

The first World X Cup was bananas. We had the Original Team Canada (Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, Petey Williams & Devine) the original Team AAA (Juventud Guerrera, Garza, Abismo Negro & Mr. Agula) Team TNA, Team UK (they sucked tbh) & Team Osaka Pro/Japan.

They had some of the best X-Division matches I've ever seen

I'd like to mention Lockdown being a noticably larger arena last year. The attendance was near 6,000. That's a huge step in the right direction. Of course there was an electrified cage and blindfolds but the rest made up for it.

Oh yeah, good thing you mentioned that. Lockdwon has to be another thing that defines TNA. Last years Lockdown wasn't that great though tbh. The thing that made me not really care for it was that it wasn't even a fucking steel cage. It was like hard rubber strands.

Lockdown was awful, we had the blind-fold match, and the electrified steel cage match, which are probably two of TNA's most embarrassing moments. Its a shame it happened on a big stage like that.

^^Those were the only 2 bad matches on an otherwise strong ppv. The main event was great. Lethal Lockdown gets better every year. I think TNA managed to leave with more than half of their dignity.
