Season 3 - Event #1

The third season of the World Prediction Championship begins with the Season Three Kickoff during the Royal Rumble weekend, and the event will feature only one championship match. However, with it being a new season and a new year - everyone starts at square one with everyone record being refreshed and everyone being handed a blank slate.

Jeff finished 2021 in possession of the WPC Grand Championship and so the new season begins with the artist formerly known as JVD still in possession of the belt. His first challenger will be Chris, who earned the first shot at the championship by winning the Grand Prix Event Championship during last season's finale. Who will welcome the new season with the Grand Championship in their hands?

For everyone including Jeff & Chris, Season Three will begin with the WPC: Super Series in which will be a tournament consisting of sixteen participants. Currently sixteen members have shown interest in taking part this season. Do not worry if you've missed the cut though - as after the first few events, the other Divisions will be open for business once more.

Predictors have been randomly assigned into four group consisting of four predictors, as shown below:

Everyone in each group will face each other in their group once, with these matches taking place during Event #1, Event #2 & Event #3. The winners of each group will face each other in the Semi Final during Event #4 & the Final during Event #5 - where the winner will earn themselves an anytime title shot of their choice, and will be able to redeem it at a time of their choosing.

The fixtures that will take place during Event #1 are as follows:

Group B: Looch vs. Jobber Doink | Fourth vs. Blaine

Group C: Juice vs. HoHo | Lethal vs. Moon Bird

Group D: Deth vs. KIF | Project Johnny vs. LadyHotRod


The card for the event will be posted closer to the time and it is likely that it won't just feature matches from the Royal Rumble. Welcome back to everyone who took part last season and welcome to all our new predictors this year.
