Nick of time: Sean Spencer gets opponent for The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale

UFC welterweight Sean Spencer (10-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will now face off with Drew Dober (13-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale, officials today announced.

Dober steps in for an injured Sergio Moraes, who was originally scheduled to meet Zak Cummings at the Nov. 30 event at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The bulk of the card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on MMAjunkie.com.

Earlier this month, Spencer stepped in to replace Cummings when he fell off the card due to injury. Then Moraes was forced to withdraw from the card, as well.

Dober, a product of Mid-America Martial Arts, makes his UFC debut on the strength of a four-fight win streak on the regional circuit. He is a one-time veteran of Bellator, where he notched a first-round submission over Nick Nolte.

Spencer recently earned his first UFC win in his most recent performance, outpointing Yuri Villefort via split decision at UFC Fight Night 28. The call put him back on the right track after a submission loss to Rafael Natal at UFC on FOX 6, which he took on short notice and at middleweight.

The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale is headlined by a lightweight rubber match between Nate Diaz and two-time title challenger Gray Maynard.
