You don't remember there being so many titles that they had to merge them? Hell you had to have double champions years before that.

More titles don't and has never helped anything.

When the brands merge, all the doubles will merge obviously.

Women's Tag Team Titles aren't more belts of the same variety, it introduces a division WWE doesn't have. You can't really talk about Women's Evolution if Women literally only have one division to fight for a belt in.

WWE gives zero fucks about belt saturation. They're adding NXT UK Women's Championship and NKT UK Tag Team Championships later this month as well.

NXT UK isn't on the same show.

You just don't have enough women to substantiate a tag division.

You try shoe horn more divisions into the show you'll either have to give them their own show like 205, which kills any notion of equality because that's literally segregation. Or, you sacrifice others storylines so everyone all of a sudden has to take a week off to fit another program in the shows.

Or fire people.....I guess massive layoffs are better because women need another title even though you can barely get on anything more than a kick off show.

Again that's on the booking team. It shouldn't be that hard to get women on more than the kickoff show. We don't need Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton matches every week. Orton and Hardy can take a week off so someone else can work this week. NXT only has one hour a week and manages to do a better job showcasing all its talents. The main roster has 5-hours. It's horribly mismanaged.

In the end WWE will do what it wants. There's no point in us debating it. The only reason I brought it up is because WWE is legitimately planning to introduce them, we just don't know when. Evolution is just a better time for it since they're putting all their women in a meaningless battle royal.

So we expect people to buy tickets for TV's without name stars?

Especially when ticket sales are low for Smackdown?

Women don't draw.....Even Rousey had to be put on bigger cards because outside of the Holly Holm fight...they were low.

Well if WWE were going to introduce tag titles....why would they slap together a title match with such low build up? Atleast the Mae Young Classic has a buildup. Atleast Baszler/Sane has a buildup.

Shit the Rousey/Nikki match has less build than those two.

You can book your shows with the intention to showcase as many as your talents as you can a month and still have most of your name talents on TV.

WWE is pushing this Women's Evolution no matter what we say here so we'll see what they decide to do.

I'm all for the women getting more screen time and i've kinda advocated for tag belts in the past but the roster depth just isn't there. They'd have to be dual-branded and even then they'd lose their novelty real quick.
