In progress

Dark Match

* Dean Ambrose beat Josh Shields

Smackdown Taping Results For 4/27

* Daniel Bryan opened the show cutting a promo. He talked about getting rid of A.J. and his guest referee job on Raw. Alberto Del Rio interrupted and said he would be the next World champion after Extreme Rules. Big Show interrupted and cleared both men from the ring. He then chokeslammed Ricardo Rodriguez.

* Alberto Del Rio beat IC champion Big Show in a non-title match. Del Rio won via Cody Rhodes outside interference.

* Damien Sandow talked on-screen about the age of enlightenment.

* New Divas champion Nikki Bella beat Alicia Fox after Twin Magic.

* Darren Young & Titus O’Neil beat Yoshi Tatsu & Ezekiel Jackson.

* Michael Cole interviewed Randy Orton about his rivalry with Kane ahead of Extreme Rules. Jinder Mahal then interfered and ate an RKO.

* Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) beat Tyson Kidd in a try-out match.

* The same Brock Lesnar hype video from Raw aired.

* Great Khali beat Cody Rhodes.

* Ryback beat local wrestler Jacob Kaye in another squash match.

* They recapped A.J. attacking Natalya last week after D-Bryan dumped her.

* World Hvt. champion Sheamus beat Mark Henry in a non-title match.

That’s the end of the Smackdown taping. No appearance by Christian, who was advertised.

Yea it sounds pretty awful. I'm a Henry fan and a Fella fan, but I don't like them together. Rhodes losing to Khali, wtf is that? No Christian, BS

It does seem pretty shit. I do, however like the Titus O'niel and Darren Young paring. They seem alright.

Oh and the Antonio Cesaro match.

The rest seems awful though >.<

Rofl, I'll literally open YouTube, watch promo, skip to Cesaro match, skip to Ryback match, close YouTube. Such a shit show, SmackDown is seriously terrible, it's the worst professional wrestling show on TV.

Big Show clearing the ring when you have your WHC in there? Then Great Khali beats your IC champion cleanly? What's the fucking point in the rematch between Henry and Sheamus? They just want ratings because Henry's a boss. Fuck SmackDown.

Besides the Khali, Big Show and Sheamus bits it's actually a pretty entertaining Smackdown. Becoming a mark for AJ Lee, she is awesome. Also Laurinitis and Eve are amazing as well, they should've turned her heel a while ago.

Cesaro Kidd should've lasted longer, looked impressive on his debut though I worry someone's knob will fall out when he hits that finisher!

I agree with R'Albin. Take away the Khali, Show and Sheamus parts and this was a good show. I'm beginning to mark for the Big deal Titus O'Neil and Mr No Days Off Darren Young. Guys just make me laugh without being a straight comedy character. Think early Edge and Christian.

I'm the same, last week I found them slightly irritating, but this week I'm really beginning to warm to them. Their little song about Ezekiel Jackson was quite funny :p

Wow... Khali beating Cody cleanly. Genius booking, just genius. Ryback still squashing people? Wow, great. Cesaro's theme and gimmick seems bland IMO, they could've done an anti-american thing, it would've been good. And Big Show going over everyone... come on now!

Edit: I'm liking Young and O'Neil, they're working well as a team, will probably help the division, the only problem is they nearly broke Tatsu's neck, I think.
