THE Brian Kendrick's Biceps

OK, so we have seen SmackDown!, and clearly the whole thing was hinting at Jeff Hardy being Triple H’s main threat. Hunter was getting attacked early in the show, Jeff ran in and made the save. Triple H cuts a promo later and he bags Jeff out when he pops up. The show ends with Jeff standing over Triple H. So after this Scramble match (assuming Triple H retains, which looks likely) it looks as if we will see a feud between one Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Jeffrey Nero Hardy. I like this as a feud, I mean, igt will produce some good wrestling, and the hype for it should be decent, as Jeff has proved that he can go with the best in a top level feud (his feud with Orton was great, despite only being a month long). So their actual feud is no problem at all. The problem is where in the hell that leaves THE Brian Kendrick (better known as God), Shelton Benjamin and MVP. Seriously, let’s have a look at the SmackDown! roster.

There aren’t many faces on SmackDown! that I can remember off the top of my head. There is: Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Undertaker, Big Show, R-Truth, Super Crazy, Jimmy Wang Yang and Funaki. None of these guys are really options for feuds for any of Kendrick, Benjamin or MVP. Hunter and Jeff are going at it already. Undertaker is busy trying to steal Vickie’s soul (O NOEZ!). Big Show is feuding with the Russian jobber smasher. Not one person in the crowd actually gives a shit about R-Truth, so he will be spending some time beating jobbers until he either turns heel, or finds himself on the unemployment line. Then, the last three are jobbers. So unless we plan on all three men beating jobbers, I don’t see too much happening for these three soon. Which really is a great waste of talent.

Thoughts?

I see it in a much brighter way then you. Firstl, soon, Umaga will return, and eventually Edge, which will add two heels, for guys like R-truth, Show, and Kennedy (eventually) to feud with (Umaga), and Edge for the main event heels to feud with...

As for now, all these guys get a rub with this 5 man feud. HHH and Hardy are already huge, so they donn't need a rub. MVP gets one, because this propels him much closer to the main event, and Shelton, although he won't main event, will still be able to (in the future), be put in situations like this again.
Kendrick is the only one with doubt, but that's not a bad thing. We know there are plans for him, or else they wouldn't have started the push,s o the only unknown is if it's a midcard push, or an eventual main event push, but either way, he get's a rub too.
So everyone is beneifiting, so there's no wasting there...

As for what happens after the match, here's what I see...
I see Jeff winning, and going on to feud with MVP for the WWE title.
HHH will go on to feud with either Khali 9they have these staredowns every week for a reason), or Kendrick, probably both will have short feuds with him.
Kendrick will do some midcarding while possibly interfering in HHH's matches, and eventually feud with him.
Shelton will be the same asnow, just midcarding...

I think that puts everyone better off than they were before.

I think that there is no real biggest threat being played to HHH, and the Hardy thing was just doing something with the most over star in the scramble. On paper, I think Shelton Benjamin is the biggest threat to HHH as they gave him the win over MVP, and the beat down last week as well as him having the US title. Hardy lookls weaker, he just lost to THE for gods sake.

As to after Unforgiven, it depends on who wins the title as to what happens. I say that MVP definatley wont win the title, so id place him in a feud with R-Truth to get him over and you alrady have a ready made feud owing to the gimmicks. For THE, I see him teaming with Ezekiel before going up against some random faces to get over, and eventually starting a feud with Hardy/Kennedy or maybe a face Umaga, but Kendrick is the only man I am not sure about. For the remaining three men, it depends on who wins the title. If HHH retains, I see him feuding with Hardy and Benjamin going in a US title feud with maybe somebody from ECW for a while or even pushing Scotty Goldman by getting him a non title win over the champ, leading to a feud. If Benjamin wins, I see him feuding with HHH and HHH costing him the US title. Hardy in this case would probably feud with Kendrick. And if Hardy wins, I see him feuding with HHH or even Benjamin, as there is a possibility that HHHN is not donewith Khali.

Oh well, theyre my thoughts...

MVP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hardy

I don't see why Jeff should be in this feud with Triple H. Like you said, it leaves guys like THE Kendrick, MVP and Benjamin out in the cold with no other top tier faces to feud with. Jeff simply cannot cut a good promo, he is good in the ring, but putting him in this feud over guys like Porter and Benjamin is bullshit imo.

But this could just be an epic swerve. MVP wins the gold at Unforgiven, maybe after Jeff gives the Swanton to Trips. That way we could develop a Triple Threat feud, and MVP is champion!!

I can always dream...

I read in multiple places that MVP apparently has backstage heat in the WWE, so that is the inly reason I think that he will not win the WWE title. Otherwise, MVP > Hardy

Interesting note.

I see HHH retaining but who doesn't? We have a feud with Jeff and HHH evolving and then after Unforgiven possibly MVP and Shelton which is different because they are both heels. The Brian Kendrick is a pain because he is not upper card material suggesting he may have some sort of feud with R Truth as a way of gettin R Truth over with the fans.

Taker is busy with Vickie but how long for? Big Show is being wasted and i would like to see him go against Kali as a monster vs. monster match. Sooner or later Umaga and Edge will return and they can be added to the mix with Taker and big Show for a while. As for the OTHERS well they are just pointless :)

Kozlov pointless?!?! He just wants....BET-TAH COM-PUH-TION!!! Maybe Triple H can take off the skirt and challenge this guy. As for Jeff Hardy...Did anyone see how badly he got beat last night? The Brian Kendrick humiliated him.

Smackdown really has been disappointing to me, they looked like they were going to be the A Show after the draft. But they already got some big feuds done quickly with HHH/Edge and the ending of Edge/Taker, and no one really is credible enough to look good against HHH. I'm actually hoping for Big Show to get some type of main event push, I think he's being way underused for what he does.

Smackdown was perfect until HHH started to get involved with the midcard...yes, Benjamin beat the shit out of him, Hardy, and MVP. And Kendrick ducked everyone in cowardly fashion but HHH's burial promos as a face are horrible. Smackdown is STILL better than Raw thanks to the wrestling perfomances of Benjamin and Hardy every week but Rey Mysterio and Jericho are taking the wrestling world by storm as well. Not to mention I'm loving that little Layla/Jamie Noble situation.

I doubt that HHH wants to be stuck in the mid card. He is the champ for fxxxs sake. I'm sure he would love to be in the ME every week with proper feuds for the title. Not stuck having random matches every other week in the mid card. Not exactly great for the world champ now is it. So as for burying ppl. I think its him been buried. As for all this so called power he has not doing him much good is it he is the champ stuck in the mid card only wrestling every other week. I also think that hardy, benjamin mvp are getting pretty good pushes, i dont think that SD stars are getting screwed i just think that there is no decent feuds at the mo.
