We've come back from commercial and the titantron is showing a replay of the ending of the ___ v____ match. The replay is cut short as The divide's theme music hits.
Michael Kelly and Yuri Black walk down the ramp in civilian clothes. Michael is wearing his survival championship belt around his waist, a black hoodie, black jogger pants, and some running shoes. Yuri is wearing a black bandana wrapped around his head, a sleeveless ripped up “Black Sabbath” t-shirt, ripped denim jeans, and black boots. The two men seem to be unusually happy, given the circumstances of what happened last week at Bad Blood. Michael goes around the ring to grab two microphones, while Yuri makes his way into the ring waiting for his partner. Michael hands Yuri a mic, they fist bump, and Yuri begins to address the matter at hand.
Yuri: I'm just going to get to the point. At Bad Blood we were robbed. Robbed of a chance to finish what they *pointing up the ramp* started. Robbed of an opportunity to bring prestige back to the tag team division. Robbed of what should rightfully be ours, the tag team championships. We should be the ones standing tall in this ring, in front of you fans, holding our gold belts. But we aren't and that's okay. Tell these people why Mike.
Michael: The only sole reason why that crap-fest of a decision at Bad Blood is okay with us is because of my little talk with the GM at the time after our match. He agreed that the match was abruptly ended, and that the circumstances pertaining to our match, were less than fair. I was in a tables match fighting for my life just mere minutes before the bell rang and we were in a tag team championship match. I'm not here to make excuses, but do you guys honestly think that if I were at 100% that the match would've ended the way it did? And so we came to an agreement that since we technically won the match at Bad blood, we would get a rematch at Gauntlet of Champions.
Yuri: Well...... there's something I've got to tell you Mike, and I'm sorry to tell you like this.... I'm leaving Saturday Night Precision. My wife is sick and my family needs me over there, at home. I can't focus on wrestling anymore, this is all that's been on my mind. To simply put it: I cannot wrestle for the time being. I won't have you carry an unfocused Yuri Black and I want you to be 100% when you have to defend that title pointing at Michael's survival championship. I'm sorry that it had to be this way, and I'm sorry we couldn't capture the gold. We'll always be the divide, you'll always be my tag partner, and most importantly... My friend.
Yuri Black sticks his hand out and mouths to Michael Kelly “We good?”. A distraught Michael Kelly paces back and forth unsure of what to do. He stands face to face with Yuri Black who still has his hand out, and smacks it away as the crowd begin to boo. Yuri Black nods at the gesture, as he turns to leave the ring but is met with Michael grabbing his arm. Michael pulls him in and embraces him in a hug as the fans begin to chant “Thank you Yuri (clap, clap, clapclapclap)”. Michael raises Yuri's arm as the fans continue the previous chant.
Yuri: As for my fans, you've been with me through the good and the not-so-good. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for the memories, and thank you for the opportunity to do what I love in front of who I love, you fans in here, and the fans at home watching. This was an opportunity of a lifetime, and I have to thank the suits in the back for giving me that opportunity. This isn't a goodbye guys, it's a see you later. See you until Black is Ba......
