Sarah D’Alelio replaces injured Kelly Kobold at Invicta FC 7
Sarah D’Alelio (7-4) has replaced injured Kelly Kobold (18-3-1) and now meets fellow bantamweight Tonya Evinger (11-6) next month at Invicta FC 7.
Invicta FC officials recently announced the change.
Invicta FC 3 takes place Dec. 7 at Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City in Missouri, and it’s available as a regular or online pay-per-view.
Sarah D’Alelio, who competes for the sixth time under the Invicta FC banner, recently was on a 3-1 run that included victories over Vanessa Porto and Amanda Nunes. However, in July, she suffered a close decision loss to Lauren Murphy at Invicta FC 6.
She looks to rebound against Evinger, a seven-year vet who was bounced from “The Ultimate Fighter 18″ during the show’s elimination round earlier this year. However, the former EliteXC fighter is on a 3-0 run in pro competition. Most recently, she scored a split-decision victory over Carina Damm in November 2012.
