Santino and Rey injury update

Santino Marella and Rey Mysterio have been off of WWE television due to injuries for quite some time now. It appears as though both of them have recovered nicely because dates for their returns have been announced.

Marella was originally injured back in January. He suffered an apparent neck injury while working a live non-televised event. According to Marella's Twitter feed, he will be ready to go come time for Raw on Monday.

Mysterio suffered a knee injury a few months back and has been off of television since.

According to an article on WrestlingInc.com, Mysterio is advertised to appear at the post-WrestleMania RAW on April 8th from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ.

It's a shame that Mysterio is going to miss WrestleMania. Earlier this year there were rumors of a potential Sin Cara/Mysterio match. Those rumors were obviously put to bed with the injury to Sin Cara, which was followed by Mysterio's current injury.

I miss both wrestler... Rey is fast and being so small makes me think about he can be one of the greatest wrestlers IMO because he has wrestled against a lot of bigger men than him. Santino is really funny and makes me enjoy a lot watching him wrestle

I think Santino should leave , He'd probably be better off in TNA or ROH. His character is a joke and he's done some better stuff before, glad he's off RAW/Smackdown altogether.

UPDATE on Santino

Santino Marella announced Saturday on Twitter that he has been cleared to return to in-ring competition after recovering from his neck injury.

"I am good to go for this Monday," wrote Marella, after stating last Monday that he was hoping he would be cleared in time to compete at tomorrow night's Raw.

The Raw Superstar suffered the injury in January, competed at the Royal Rumble, and subsequently underwent a neck procedure in February in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
