Its pretty obvious a fued with Angle over the World Title is next for Samoa Joe, if (or when) he finally wins the Championship, do you think that Impact!'s ratings will go up? I think they will, many fans have been waiting for Joe to get that title for a while now, therefore IMO Samoa Joe as Champion=Ratings increase

It all depends on when he gets it. If he doesnt get it till BFG in October and RVD is there by then, and they have TV deal by then, it wont matter if Joe has the belt, the ratings will go up anyway

But if he wins it sometime in the next few months, then the rating wont go up much more than .2, if that

maybe, just 0.1 ; don't expect Impact jumping from 1.1 to 2.0 because it's not going to happen so soon; it will take at least a year

Kurt Angle could bring up ratings as a heel, but not a face. But Samoa Joe may bring up ratings. But if what Peepshow said is true RVD coming to TNA would be good. If he won the title that could bring up ratings. But I think they should give a TNA orignal like Chris Harris would be awesome with him as champion I would not want to miss an Impact with Harris as champion.

No ONE PERSON in TNA = ratings. If any ONE person did, you would have seen a spike in the ratings as soon as they joined the company. TNA is a collaborative effort and until they get that, they are gonna suck. Instead of looking for the quick fix one "megastar" they should just work with what they have.

right, Joe has been on every week, so i dont see anyone new tuning in to see him with the Tna belt. They need to put on good programming for an extended period of time. Obvisously Kurt Angle and Cage didnt help ratings much at all, so i dont see Joe with the belt being the one thing tna was missing.

ALso, how is Tna going to pay RVD? It would be foolish to pay him, with money they dont have. Lets not forget TNA has only signed 2 wrestlers in hte past 16 - 18 months! (Angle + Tomko) They are strapped for money. Even if they did bring in RVd, hes not the answer. It would be same thing as angle, but worse. Lets bury the X division even farther.

The little place in the back of your mind that you
FOR THE LAST TIME, TNA WOULDN'T BE IN THE 1.1 or 1.2's IF NOT FOR LEADING IN FOR UFC UNLEASHED OR THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER

That's just my opinion but I really haven't seen a difference in ratings period over the Joe feud with Angle. I know a lot of people like Joe but all the Joe hype has died down and he hasn't won the TNA World Title yet. I think that getting the belt off of Christian was a good ratings move though.
