Dumbass: Mom was driving slow so boy could hang on to the minivan instead of pedal stole that from fark

n 11-year-old Reno bicyclist died Sunday night when he lost his grip on a minivan being driven by his mother and was run over.

The boy had been riding at slow speed beside or was hanging onto the minivan on Filbert Road about 8:22 p.m. when he lost balance, Sgt. Martin Wright said in a news release. A Reno officer in the area immediately attempted cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

Police blocked intersections for a REMSA ambulance carrying the boy, but he was pronounced dead at Renown Regional Medical Center a short time after arrival.

Witnesses can reach traffic detectives at 334-2141 or call Secret Witness at 322-4900.

Recently, I saw an old picture of Will Smith from the Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air days, and felt nostalgic. I missed that Will Smith, the dorky, gawky, goofy up-and-coming young star. Back then, he reminded me of the coolest boys in school: famous, but identifiable, friendly, relaxed. But as far as I’m concerned, movie fame has reshaped Smith into a rigid plastic model of Movie Star. Those rumors of him converting to Scientology wouldn’t surprise me, just because Smith now reminds me of Tom Cruise—they’re both grinning-yet-inscrutable celebrities. This isn’t to say I dislike Smith’s movies (in fact I probably enjoyed Hancock more than most people) but due to the way he’s calcified into the role of the huge movie star who is a permanent part of the cinematic landscape, yet strangely unknowable, it’s impossible for me to watch one of his movies without thinking, the whole time, “Will Smith is fighting vampires. Will Smith is fighting aliens. Will Smith is fighting homelessness.” All this led me to wonder, was the loose-and-fun Fresh Prince Smith really what I thought he was, or was that just one of his better acting jobs?

C'mon Rosie, don't let that uppity bitch Megan Fox talk shit about you. If I was in your position, I'd pull her hair and playfully paw at her. That'll show her! From the Chicago Sun Times:

Folks close to Fox claim the actress is irked about all the positive press Huntington-Whiteley is getting -- including long-term plans for magazine covers featuring the Victoria's Secret model tied to the July 4, 2011, release of "TF3."

A source in Fox's camp whispers, "Megan talks about Rosie all the time -- bitching about how 'that Victoria's Secret slut' is getting so much attention."

What did Megan think was going to happen once she'd been replaced? That people would still care about her? She should ask Paula Abdul how well things have worked out for her since she quit American Idol. The reality is, if you want to make it in Hollywood, you can't burn the bridge your cash cow is standing on.
