Ryback says he will be WWE Champion for Many Years to Come

- The Miami Herald has published part 2 of their interview with Ryback. He talked about the Bill Goldberg chants:

"I didn’t expect that. I had been on the road from about the end of December, but didn’t debut until after WrestleMania, and not once did I get anything like that. Then once I got to TV, I think maybe the style of matches and the facial hair. I think it was the intense style and the undefeated streak. It never bothered me one bit and never will because I was a wrestling fan all my life. We become very loyal to those we see on TV before us."

"There are a lot of people that are very loyal to Bill Goldberg and rightfully so. It’s only fair that people are going to make comparisons to new talent that may come up. Not necessarily that I was a brand new talent, but people are going to make comparisons. It’s just one of those things. I know that I’m a lot different than him. I’m a different character and different in a lot of ways. It took time for people to see that."

"As you’ve seen the Goldberg chants have gone down tremendously, if not completely gone away. Every once in a while you will hear fans at TV or the pay-per-view try to get them going, but they are drowned out by, ‘Feed Me More’. If I was going out there every night and doing the spear and Jackhammer and mimicking his mannerisms, then yeah, they would probably still be there. But there is a lot more to Ryback. I understand them, but they don’t bother me at all. It just takes time to get a fan base and have people become loyal to you."

- Ryback also spoke to DigitalSpy.com to promote WWE TLC. He talked about his title match against CM Punk being cancelled:

"It's unfortunate. I believe I'm going to be the WWE champion for many years to come - a staple of the WWE. It's just delaying the inevitable. I tend to focus on the positives. When I destroy CM Punk I want him healthy. I know that time will come, but right now I get the next best thing and that's feeding on The Shield and handing their guys their first loss in their first pay-per-view match, so I'm very excited about that."

I like his attitude in all of this. He is a patient man, a positive man, a ambitious man and last a all around tough person. Ryback is getting better in his character and is continuing to improve in the ring. He will be a awesome WWE Champion one day.

Starting to like Ryback an he is obvs doin the right things back stage to impress WWE officials. Also he has improved a lot in the last few months an his character is starting to develop nicely.

He is the future face of the company whether we like it or not, hope they build him right for that moment though, as he is definitely not ready now...

Couldn't agree more. Needs a lotta polishing on the stick and in ring but I see some potential, still not sold that he'll ever be the guy though.
