Time for some handegg (AKA Real Football) talk in here!

So, Jake Locker and Ryan Tannehill will be the starting QB's for the Titans and Dolphins, respectively.

Awesome news for the Titans, it's much better to see what you could get out of the young stud, especially after he outplayed Hasselbeck last year... if all the question marks on the Titans' offense can get sorted out, he can have a pretty good season this year.

As for Tannehill to the Dolphins... plenty of people weren't very high on Tannehill and thought he needed development, and he can't develop with that supporting cast around him. Matt Moore won games for them last year and turned their season around, and he deserved another chance imo.

What do you guys think?

Tannehill has never impressed me and the Phins won't be relevant for a long time IMO because of that pick.

Great news for Titans fans, Locker is a stud. If only he had Kenny Britt healthy the Titans could be on to something. If CJ can bounce back I think Tennessee competes in that division, but I think I've mentioned that on this forum before. I like that franchise and enjoy seeing them do well

__________

I expected both of these guys to start to
though.

I'm more interested to see if Pete Carroll will really start Russell Wilson. Apparently he is in love with him

Agree with every word of this, but they view Tannehill as a developmental player. The guy can't develop if the supporting cast closely resembles Cleveland's. The Titans... wow. Britt, as you say, was the key to their offense, the Titans' O is really explosive when he's in the lineup, but sub-par when he isn't. Shame he's never healthy and can't stay out of jail, but apparently Munchak's really high on Kendall Wright and thinks he'll be a suitable replacement. With better blocking for a Johnson who's in better shape, that offense can be top-10 this year.

Wilson definitely should be starting based on what's going on in the preseason. The guy's a stud.

The Dolphins won't be relevant until they go over .500 again.

Jake Locker and Ryan Tannehill won their QB battles.

Not to mention my Bears stole Brandon Marshall gunpoint from them for nothing. The Dolphins are garbage despite what anyone thinks. Tannehill was such an overrated pick.

Just did a quick google search. They're wanting to keep Davone Bess in the slot, so Roberto Wallace is their #1 receiver, with Legedu Naanee as the 2.

Fail. Hope they enjoy those third rounders... lol

That's the saddest receiving corps I've ever heard of.. and I once watched a Raiders team field a receiving corps of Ronald Curry, Jerry Porter, and Mike Williams (yea.. that Mike Williams)

Yea, I knew he would get the nod unless the higher ups went over Pete Carroll's head, and obviously your team has major issues if things like that are happening. Good for Russell, he has looked outstanding. I watched him tear the Chiefs a new asshole the other night (KC looked like shit)
