Russell Crowe gets his obsessed squint on as Javert in 'Les Mis' -- PHOTO
In its heyday, the bicorne was widely worn throughout the 19th century by European and American military officers. Interestingly, Russell Crowe could credibly pull off either man with this look. But this shot of the Oscar-winning actor is from the set of director Tom Hooper’s production of Les Mis, with Crowe playing the obsessed French lawman in pursuit of Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman).
