As noted, Rusev appeared to suffer a shoulder injury in last night's WWE Main Eventmatch against Neville at the tapings in Phoenix, Arizona.

Word from backstage is that Rusev is believed to have suffered a torn bicep, according toPWInsider. There is no confirmation on the severity of the injury but it was bad enough to stop the match.

Regarding the post-match tantrum that Rusev threw, that may have been done to make up some of the TV time they lost when the match had to be cut short.

We'll keep you updated on Rusev's status.

Poor guy if this is true. He's had a horrible 2015.

His biceps is torn. That takes a bit of time to come back from.

If he's legitimately injured, I hope they can still find a reason to put him on television. He's a thoroughly funny and entertaining character when they let him be.

I actually think when he comes back, it will have been long enough to make him relevant again. Keep him on TV for the short term to move DZ vs Breeze up and give him time to become fresh again. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and he is back as soon as possible.

Injuries and leaves aren't always a bad thing. Sometimes it is a good thing to take a break. Isn't he newly married? He can enjoy that and rest, then when he comes back, they can give him a legit run.

According to WWE.com, Rusev's recovery time is currently slated at 3-4 weeks.
