This would be a hell of an upheaval but given UFC's ties to Las Vegas and them doing that show at The Apex this sounds like it's very plausible.
Following this year’s season of Dana White’s Contender Series and a few final UFC Fight Nights in November, the UFC Apex will be shut down until mid-2025 as the venue gets renovated. White confirmed the plans in a recent interview with TNT Sports.
“The Apex is going under construction,” he said. “We’re actually expanding the Apex. It’s gonna be bigger and better. We’re doing like a $25 million expansion on the Apex. There’s gonna be hospitality, more bathrooms. Bigger. More seating. Yeah, we’re expanding.”

WWE says they're not moving the Performance Center.
Reports emerged on August 27, claiming that the WWE Performance Center would be moved to Las Vegas from Orlando. WWE sources that Fightful Select spoke to that afternoon claim that is false.
The original report cited Mark Shapiro as announcing that during a meeting, which one WWE source reached out quickly to say didn't happen unless there was another meeting held. Additional sources within WWE say that Mark Shapiro did not make an announcement indicating a move to Las Vegas for the WWE PC.
Specifically, we're told that Mark Shapiro was making a point that Las Vegas is a sports and entertainment destination and that having a WWE presence there is on the table. However, the company would need to figure out what that presence is, how much of a presence it would be, and when.
No sources at the WWE Performance Center had heard of any plans to move to Las Vegas, and were shocked when they saw word that it could happen. Many sources noted the proximity of the current PC to talent on the main roster, and their ability to easily access it. Among other things, cost of living of trainee talent was mentioned as being far more beneficial in Orlando.
Basically just everything we've already read, nothing really new here."On 8/27, Mark Shapiro, the President of Endeavour and President and COO of TKO, led a meeting at the headquarters in Stamford. When the meeting was over, WrestleVotes reported that he said that WWE would be moving developmental from Orlando to Las Vegas. We quickly checked and heard back from someone in WWE that there would likely be a developmental system based in Las Vegas, based on the conversation, but it was not clear if it would be one in Las Vegas or two, with the other being in Orlando. Immediately after the first tweet, everyone in Orlando was in panic as nobody had any hint of this.
Another person close to the situation noted to us that months ago there was talk of developmental in Las Vegas. This would make the NXT show at the Apex make more sense and comes at the time of the decision to possibly expand the Apex. But they hadn't heard anything in months regarding that. In Orlando it was said that absolutely nobody there had a clue. One person in WWE told us that there were a few that were tipped off but kept it quiet.
We were then told that at the meeting Shapiro brought up Las Vegas, how they've added teams in the NFL, NHL and are adding a major league baseball team and it's always been a boxing and UFC home base for the biggest fights and he talked about WWE getting a major regular presence in that city. But WWE's direct word was that this didn't mean developmental would be there, only that he talked about WWE having a major regular presence in that market, but not that there's any timetable. Later we were told that there was a plan for developmental there but also to retain the Orlando base and have two bases. But it's more of an idea for the future and it's not like it's imminent."
