Chael Sonnen always seems to the centre of controversy no matter where he goes. The former three time UFC title challenger recently announced his retirement from the sport following a failed drug test in which he claimed he was using fertility drugs. It wasn't the first time Sonnen had done so, as his post fight drug test with his first Anderson Silva fight indicated his testosterone levels were one tenth above the state average.
But apparently that doesn't rule outside competition, as Sonnen has been rumoured to be competing at Metamoris 4 which takes place August 9th ironically in LA where Sonnen failed his drug test against Silva. Metamoris is a submission only grappling tournament which allows only established names from outside sports to compete. The organization has seen many competitors including; Eddie Bravo, Brendan Schaub, Dean Lister, and Roger Gracie.
The match that has everybody in the jiu jitsu clamoring is against Andre Galvao, a 12-time pan american jiu jitsu champion, and a multiple time ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) champion.
Mind you, this is just a rumour. For nothing has been set in stone yet.

This doesn't really tingle my senses too much. All grappling is, is a quick glorification process. So many people are so quick to jump on the grappling train because you can win medals, and trophies so early.
As people can tell I'm a true kickboxer.
