- WWE is keeping a tight lid on what the stipulation will be for the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H match at Wrestlemania, but one scenario that's been discussed is that we could see an MMA-style fight. WWE.com also posted a photo gallery earlier this week of Brock Lesnar's UFC career, which would tie in to this style of fight.

If Hunter has done training for it then it could be Fucking awesome. Although to be honest I'd rather it was just a HIAC with Lesnar just incorporating moves into it.

Like Ken Shamrock/Owen Hart at Summerslam 1998 or Kurt Angle/Samoa Joe at Lockdown 2008 (I think)? I don't know about that one. Sounds like it would be designed to feed Triple H's ego even more by having Triple H beat Brock 'at his own game.'

If you're running this match it needs to be with someone who's booked as having a legit submission or grappling background like Joe Angle was, otherwise it's just meh. Danielson could have been a great pick if he wasn't screaming yes and no, either him or Hero throwing KOs left right and centre mainly because elbows are cool.

I didn't want to see Brock vs HHH again and I definitely don't want to see an MMA match at Wrestlemania. It's just WWE saying "hey look we can be like UFC too  ". Aside from getting the PPV buys from MMA fans I really don't see the reason for this jump the shark move

We're not the target demographic. Plus. I think a lot of people would like to see a well done, stiff almost shoot style fight between Brock and Trips.

But that's only a match to feed Triple H's ego. I mean, how realistic will it look for someone like Triple H beat Brock Lesnar (A FORMER UFC CHAMPION!!!) in a mixed martial arts fight? That makes ZERO sense.

In the WWE it makes a lot of sense. Triple H is a 10+ time World champion and one of the baddest mofos in the game. Having gone toe to toe with the Undertaker three times. Don't look at it through MMA glasses, look at it through WWE glasses.

Still a way to feed Triple H's ego, nonetheless...

A lot of things in wrestling is to feed someone's ego. It's a hierachical business. Every wrestler is to some degree an egomaniac. This is nothing new nor terrifying.

I would love to see them in a REAL MMA fight in the middle of that ring. Fuck the fixed outcome, let's have a real battle in MMA. It would be fun to watch, in my opinion.

But not in Vince McMahon's. MMA is a joke to Vince, UFC especially.
