Names being discussed for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame next year include the Von Erichs, Ted DiBiase, Mae Young, Gordon Solie, Rick Rude, and for the celebrity wing, Bob Uecker. Also, they really want Ric Flair, which has been the plan for a long time now, but both sides are currently on the outs.

Good, Flair needs to be in there. Bob Uecker?

Mae Young!!! :boobies:

That's a good list and I don't have a clue who Bob Uecker is either lol.

Ric Flair should hopefully be in the HoF this year and I'm glad to see Rick Rude get in too.

The Million Dollar Man isn't in yet?

I thought Mae Young was already in as well.

Nah, Mae Young is in the professional wrestling Hall of Fame, but not WWE.

Not bad at all....nice to see Dibiase get in.

Flair would really make this class a lot better though.

I definitely think they'll be coming to some form of agreement and he'll be back on TV within a month or so.

And that qualifies him to be in the WWE HOF? Lets just put Hornswoggle in there now. He was at WM 23

It's because Bob Uecker was a former pro baseball player, and famous baseball commentator, he has also been in a lot of movies. He was at WM 3 as well. I'm not saying I agree with it, but I guess they're trying to put someone in that was a personality in another sport. And they justify it by saying he was associated with two Wrestlemanias.

ROFL, b/c he was in other sports? What a foolish reason. Im not raggin on him personally, but that just sounds lame. Lets get ready to induct Pacman, Dennis Rodman, Urlacher, Damon, and some other people with pro sports. They should all be in some sort of wrestling HOF >_>

Didn't Pete Rose get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

He only appeared at 3 WMs, and got tombstoned by Kane at each one.

Also, Uecker is part of somewhat famous moment when Andre grabbed him by the neck and started shaking his head. Not saying that he deserves to be in the Hall though.

You guys no nothing. With the exception of maybe the Fridge, Bob Uecker is the most deserving person to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. He was at multiple Wrestlemania's conducting backstage interviews, etc. He did comentary at Mania 3 for some of the matches with Monsoon and Ventura. He is truely a wrestling fan and loves the buisness. What did Pete Rose ever do besides getting beat up by Kane?
