According to Mike Mooneyham, the contract of former X Division Champion, Rob Van Dam has expired. Mooneyham mentions that with TNA going on the road, RVD might be interested in what WWE has to offer.

We basically all knew that his contract expired when he lost to King a week ago, but that he might not be interested into signing new contract? That's all sort of awesome.:obama:

:yes::yes::yes:

I'm glad my interest has dwindled in the WWE product if so, the only way I think I'll enjoy him as the arrogant heel he was in ECW, face RVD has been there for what 13 years now? Even though he was technically a heel in the alliance he got face pops.

This is the greatest TNA news I've heard since Russo was fired.

That last part HAS to be a rumor. RVD said that he isn't a fan of WWE via Twitter. And he said something insulting about WWE also. So he couldn't be interested in WWE again. :pity:

To be honest, I don't see why people have problem with him coming to the WWE? It's not like the product can get any worse with him around.

RVD going back to the 'e can only be a massive breath of fresh air. After all, every midcard wrestler and their mothers have wrestled each other at least 20 times. Even Ricky Ortiz would be a breath of fresh air at this point.

Don't believe he'll go back though, what with their wellness policy and all.

I wonder how long it would take him to get banned, I give it a week.

Neither HHH or Vince were ever high on Bob. I don't see him getting the same treatment in WWE that he got in TNA.

My bad. Was obviously supposed to write "same treatment he got in TNA". I'm getting a contact high just writing about Bob.
