Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling forums is a favored pastime of many smarks, perhaps second only to actually participating in the community. In this bi-daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the wrestling smarks forum rumor mill.
Rumors for the Day:
- There are reports of at least two "donations" flowing from @Solidus to @baseballmm over the last fortnight. Not much is known about the user known as "Base"; there is more to come, this could be serious.
- In more light-hearted news involving the owner of WWE Forums, WWEF Observer Newsletter (WON) says that the speculation of fans re: the likelihood of power couple Solidus and @Solid Snake AKA "Solidus Snake" having kitties anytime soon is greatly exaggerated.
- It seems @Beavie isn't the only one happy to confuse the fans, with a lesser known user possibly following in his (her?) pawsteps. But @Seto-san seems to be engaging in what he accuses other WWEF users of doing.That is, of course, gimmick infringement. It is unclear if there is any beef between the two users, or if Beavie is even aware of Seto-san's latest stunt, but we at CatSide Seats are expecting this story to continue to unfold in the coming days.
- @The Reagmaster, a master of creating threads, is apparently considering to add NXT UK and, more controversially (and less likely), AEW. If this were to happen (plans change after all), WON has confirmed that one of two things will happen: Either a) There will be an increase in the number of participants allowed to compete in Season 2 of the League; or b) The number of picks each participant gets will increase from 5 to anywhere between 8-10.
- Going back to the elusive Base - as if it wasn't bad enough that the fans were speculating on the love life of the WWEF power couple, Bryan Satan of Pro Wrestling Forums Sheet has fueled speculation that baseballmm is a furry. One thing that can be confirmed is that Base is not into reptiles or amphibians.
