According to a source who has spoken personally today with former WWE.Diva Mickie James, it's official. Mickie James has signed with TNA .Wrestling to compete in their Knockouts Division.

The former Women's Champion is foraying into country music and has been rumored to sign with TNA, despite her manager's recent denials. More on this as it develops.

Update: Sources within a local New York radio station confirm that Mickie James has signed with TNA Wrestling and will debut with the company on the live October 7 episode of Impact. As far as what name Mickie will compete as, we will just have to wait and see.

James wrestled for TNA back in 2003 briefly before heading over to OVW. Mickie is a five time WWE Women's Champion and one time Divas Champion. She was also the PWI Woman of the year in 2009.

================================================================

Awaiting to verify, but seems official.

Mickie would be a great addition to TNA. At the current state of the knockouts division (With the only wrestling between TBP and Madison Rayne) it's becomming very stale. I would heavily support the addition of Mickie James to TNA. As for her manager, It's well-known that managers try and steer peoples thinking onto other things. It well could be her that's signed with TNAWrestling.

Well I would be fine with any of a number of people coming to TNA, but Mickie would probably make the most impact since she and Kat are the only divas that have really looked into TNA... and i think Mickie is a smidge better than Kat. Some old WWE guys like Helms or Benjamin would be nice but i think they'd just end up like Moore and Neal, forming a tag team or competing in the X Division and kept out of the world title history, only time will tell who this person is though.

Watch TNA have it be nobody's guess, like Vampiro or Jimmy Wang Yang lmfao. That would be so piss-off.

Huge news if so. The knockout division used to be one of the shining points of TNA, with the addition of Mickie James and the return of Tara and hopefully a few more new recruits, it looks as if the division will once again become one of the strongest points of TNA but now along with the tag team revival. Now if only they can fucking bring back the x division.

Agreed. TNA has let go of a few good Knockouts. I was pretty stunned when ODB was released. I never did hear what happened to my favorite eye candy Knockout, Traci Brooks. Kong gets let go, etc. They still have some good talent with Hamada, Love, Velvet, Tara, and Taylor. Brining Mickie in can only help, that is if the rumor is true. I think TNA's problem right now is that they only have 2 hours of programming per week. Man, if only they would bring back the Saturday morning stuff that was taped from house shows. Even for an hour. You could get more talent exposure. Im sure SPIKE could find 60 minutes on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

I usually don't care for moves in the Knockouts or Divas divisions, call me sexist, but women's wrestling will never be anything more than filler in WWE and/or TNA. But Mickie to TNA is actually a good idea, she could for sure have a positive impact (no pun intended) on the Knockouts division, hellI think it would be cool if her and Serena (if she was able to sign with TNA) come in together and 'take over' ala the Outsiders lol.
