It looks like all that will-they-won't-they nonsense surrounding B.J. Penn, Rory MacDonald and VADA sponsored drug testing was all for nothing. Dana White told the media at the UFC on Fox 4 post fight press conference that MacDonald suffered a very bad cut in training and has been forced out of the planned UFC 152 bout.
Here's the tweet from Ariel Helwani:

Rory MacDonald is out of 152, per Dana. Huge cut in training on his forehead. No replacement for BJ yet.

Unfortunate news as that was a very compelling fight to see exactly where Rory is in his overall development along with giving Penn a chance to prove that he can still compete against the young studs at welterweight in the UFC.
Joseph Benavidez vs. Demetrious Johnson remains the main event but Penn is the "big name" that is on the show to draw in the casual viewer.
Wow. Of course this would happen, Rory had 40 stitches in his head from the cut. Penn still wants to fight though so we'll see what they come up with. They might just delay the fight to a later date, but the UFC 152 card was so good.
