Rollins vs Punk reportedly scheduled for Netflix debut on January 6th. Other rumours too

Gonna be wild if they do this here given it's a Mania quality match but with how important this Netflix debut is, I get the reasoning behind it.​

That's mania worthy but if it's to draw casual fans of both punk and Rollins, then sure why not!!! Should be an excellent match.

They need to have at least one Mania-caliber match on that first card (which is for all intents and purposes a PLE level show).

Rollins/Punk is a great choice. Rematch can be at Mania (hell they could even have a non-finish and do the match again at Mania.

according to some (lol, ibou) Punk is angling for Roman at mania and trying to get out of the Punk feud for mania. I have a hard time fully buying that beyond Punk shooting his shot asking to work with roman, which tbf, most top of the card guys would want to do that too

If they do have this match on the first Netflix Raw, no way I see it having a clean finish.

Additionally, Wrestle Votes is reporting that WWE is also expected to feature The Rock and John Cena on the show, Shawn Michaels will make a rare TV appearance, and a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin appearance is also a possibility.​

By all reports they're turning the first Raw into a sort of PLE having huge mania card worthy matches, apparently. Check out this guy , his views are very unbiased and it's my new favourite wrestling channel. He got the Punk being the fifth man right .

For those who have asked about rumors bouncing around that CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins is taking place on the Raw Netflix premiere episode in Los Angeles, PWInsider.com was told this morning that is 100% the current direction they are going in.

We were cautioned "anything can always change" but that match is "absolutely part of the plan to come in nuclear hot" for the Netflix debut on 1/6/25.​
