Do you think they'll ever strike a TV deal like TNA had. Just a one hour program on foxsports or something, probably the Versus station if it were to happen. I think its bound to happen, I just got into ROH today and already love it. The matches are insane, definetly the best wrestling in America. Havent seen any of there daily?weekly? whatever there normal shows like Raw are, just matches on dailymotion but now that they struck a 6 PPV a year deal, its only time till they get a TV deal. ROH with a TV deal can only help. They would probably get around the same ratings as TNA if not better to be honest. It would help there popularity grow around the wrestling market, as long as they dont try to compete with TNA and WWE and just mind there own business it'll be really cool.

lol Truth you're really pro-ROH now huh?

As far as a TV deal i think it's possible if they make the right moves, with Aries back they are going to have solid ground to build on with their talent pool. Basically imo, if they can keep gaining interest of more and more people they should strike a deal sometime in the future.

They could (and probably will) get a TVdeal down the line, but for now they're doing fine with the DVD sales and their PPV deal. My biggest worry is that we might a bit of a different product if ROH lands a tv deal.

ROH has already turned down a few tv offers, mainly because they didnt think they were ready. They are taking baby steps and so far it has worked. They've always remained loyal to the wrestlign product and keeping that first priority. What i've heard in 2008 roh will have a deal (its a lock) Personally i really dont think they even need one. Live ppvs would be awesome. Or i actually would like their show to be more of a recap show very similar to Video wire. Feature 1 or 2 matches, a handful of promos and news updates.

I would be fine with a 30 Minute time slot featuring like 2 matches every week. Kindof like what WSX did except ROH would be successful. Then add on Live PPVs and its a huge advancement. A one hour show would be pretty cool though.

Somewhere down the line i think they will get the TV deal but with that being said i wouldn't hold my breath either as i dont think it will happen in the near future.
Plus TNA are quiet content with the money they are making now and are pacing them selves because alot of people on the ROH staff worked for ECW and dont want it going down the same track untill they are ready because i believe they have already turned down a few TV contracts this far.

I agree with montana.. ROH don't need to rush stuff like TNA has done and look what happen to tna 2007. started off as a poor year for them but is slowly improving...

TNA got there tv deal in 2005... But still an hour and they still get about 0.8-1.2...

But there problem is there Matches are too short... i think this year they had samoa joe vs styles i would say there worst match of all time it only went for 3:14 length... How can you develop a good match or even a match with that time.....

I would like roh to get an 60 min show right away... as there matches would be too short and would damage there wrestlers crediblitity....

ROH have alreayd make an excellent name for themselfs and i dont want them to have tv show yet... Maybe in 2008 or 2009...

But they just got PPV now and should roll with that.... and the large event shows....

They already make lots of money selling DVD's, but TV would be great now. I've heard fans talking about wanting a TV deal since last year, it would be pretty crazy seeing Bryan Danieslon, Austin Aries and Japanese Superstars on TV.

ROH dont need no TV deal. they have turn TV deals down mainly becuase the public arent to eager to watch wrestling. if they get a TV deal they will have to change their product and they dont want to. since TNA has gotten a TV deal they have changed and have become like wwe except that they put on better PPVs. i have faith in ROH and if they ever get a TV deal i hope they dont change to appeal to wwe fans cause they are the worst and couldnt tell real wrestling even if danielson was wrestling in their face.
