I'm not a big fan of Hoopla, but that video was the most entertaining thing from ROH i've seen in ages. The card needs to be bulked up though. Poor main event, but i think they'll round the show out. American Wolves vs. Elgin/Lethal will be a great match... just not sure why they booked it. Ah well. More to come.

What do you think about this tripleshot?

Sounds pretty good to me. Think Cheeseburger might want to change his name though.

Night of Hoopla's card is pretty poor so far. They should have put that show somewhere else, Chicago deserves better to be honest.

Jimmy Jacobs performs his new single! Oh man his Ballad of Lacey was ingenious, I hope his new hit is somewhere on that level.

Updated Matches.... I notice there is a serious lack of title matches on these shows. (not sure if this is something ROH has been doing lately at house shows) But you'd think out of the World, TV, and Tag titles, something would be defended on each show.

So is this ROH trying to alter with their style a bit and have a show focussed more on entertainment than wrestling? It certainly seems that way with Night of Hoopla, pretty weak card.

Detroit card looks very good though. I can understand the lack of title matches on Night of Hoopla but for the other two shows it is a bit odd.

Three shows from ROH over the past couple of days - Night of Hoopla, and Reclamation Night 1 and 2.

Here's the results.

A Night of Hoopla (7/11/13) Results | ROHWorld.com
The show begins with ‘Hoopla Hottie’ Scarlet singing the House of Truth National Anthem. And because tonight is being presented by Truth Martini, none of the referees are wearing pants!

Matt Taven def. Eddie Edwards & Adam Cole

A Night of Hoopla started with the House of Truth’s Matt Taven defeating Eddie Edwards and Adam Cole in a triple threat. At one point, Scarlet spanked the referee, which resulted in Eddie Edwards chopping her on the butt.

Special Guest Referee: Maria Kanelllis
Jay Lethal (as Black Machismo) def. Delirious

Jay Lethal was in his Black Machismo gear and defeated the returning Delirious with a roll-up. After the match, Lethal asked Maria, who he called Elizabeth, to marry him. She said “Ohhhhhhh yeaahhhh!â€.

Pants off Dance off
Davey Richards def. The Hoopla Hotties

The ‘Pants off Dance off’ was being judged by none other than Judge Jeff Jones. It starts with three Hoopla Hotties, Scarlet, Selezyia, and Val Malone. However, ‘American Wolf’ Davey Richards interrupts the dancing. He talks about how this isn’t what ROH is supposed to be about, and mentions the greats from the past. But then Davey himself starts dancing, and spanks Selezyia. This results in Davey Richards winning the first ever ‘Pants off Dance off.’

Lumberjill Match
Davey Richards def. Silas Young

Silas came out after the Dance Off and asked what the hell just happened. It’s a Lumberjill match but in a surprise twist, the Lumberjills are just male wrestlers in drag. Richards got the win via submission and sang after the match.

ROH World Tag Team Championship
reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) (c) def. Camp Cheese (Roderick Strong & Cheeseburger)

Cheeseburger made his big ROH debut alongside Roderick Strong to challenge for the ROH Tag Team Titles. reDRagon retained the gold after they hit the ‘Chasing the Dragon’ on Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger even did a Canadian Destroyer at one point during the match, which was hopefully called the Cheeseburger Destroyer.

Martini Interviews ‘Satan’

Before the main event, Truth Martini is out to interview ‘Satan.’ Satan says that QT Marshall only got a job because he sold his soul to him. This results in the HoT taking out ‘Satan.’

Michael Elgin, BJ Whitmer & MsChif def. ACH, TaDarius Thomas & Athena

Elgin’s team pick up the win when he uses the Green Mist on TD Thomas, followed by a Buckle Bomb and Elgin Bomb. Michael Elgin actually did The Worm after the match! To celebrate their victory, the recently married Elgin & MsChif proceeded to make out.

Reclamation: Night One (7/12/13) Results | ROHWorld.com

Dark Match
Cheeseburger & Benjamin Boone def. Beer City Bruisers

Said to have been a fun pre-show match according to fan reports. Apparently, Cheeseburger got the second loudest pop of the show, only topped by Kevin Steen later in the night.

Adrenaline RUSH def. Mike Sydal & Zizou Middoux

The team of ACH & TaDarius Thomas picked up with the win with a 450 Splash on Sydal by ACH. Surprisingly there was said to have been not much high flying action in this one.

Women of Honor
Athena def. MsChif

Athena got the win over MsChif but ended up receiving the Green Mist after the match.

Best in the World Rematch
Mike Bennett def. BJ Whitmer

Mike (or is it Michael now?) Bennett avenged his loss at BITW ’13 by defeating BJ Whitmer with a Piledriver. Maria distracted Todd Sinclair when Whitmer had a clear three count on Bennett.

Eddie Edwards def. Kyle O’Reilly

Said to have been a very good technical match with a lot of great chain wrestling, matching hold for hold. After the lacklustre start to the show, the crowd came alive for this one and were really into the match. One live report states it was the second best match of the night and definitely one to check out on VOD/DVD.

Tommaso Ciampa def. Rhino

The Sicilian Psychopath was able to defeat The Man Beast after countering a Gore attempt with a devastating Knee Strike.

Kevin Steen def. Silas Young

Before the match, Young cut a promo on Steen. However, Silas lost the match after a Package Piledriver by Steen. Afterwards, Silas young refused to adhere to the Code of Honor and didn’t shake Kevin’s hand.

Four Corner Survival
Michael Elgin def. Adam Cole, Jay Lethal & Matt Taven

Elgin pinned Cole after an Elgin Bomb. Cole refused to shake his hand after the match. A lot of fans are predicting we’ll see this two collide once again towards the end of the World Title tournament. Elgin was said to have been the crowd favourite in this one.

Bobby Fish def. Davey Richards

Bobby Fish kept his undefeated streak alive by defeating the ‘American Wolf’ with a vicious knee strike after a distraction by O’Reilly. Fans in attendance say this was a fantastic main event and the best match of the night. Davey hit a crazy suicide dives three rows deep into the crowd at one point. The match seemed to end quite abruptly, leading some to think Richards could have possibly been injured during the match. He’s scheduled to face Jay Lethal & Michael Elgin tonight in Michigan, so I assume we’ll hear an update on his condition then. He tweeted this after the show:

Reclamation: Night Two (7/13/13) Results | ROHWorld.com

TaDarius Thomas def. Kyle O’Reilly

One half of Adrenaline RUSH defeated half of reDRagon by countering a kick into a rollup. Live reports say this was a great opening match.

Women of Honor – Four Corner Survival
MsChif def. Leah Von Dutch, Jenny Rose & Athena

MsChif got the win after pinning Leah Von Dutch with the Desecrator.

Tommaso Ciampa def. Silas Young

Silas actually defeated Ciampa by hitting him with a hammer. However, the match was then restarted by Nigel McGuinness. Ciampa was then able to pick up the victory with the Project Ciampa.

Adam Cole def. BJ Whitmer

Cole defeated Whitmer after faking a knee injury and then capitalising with a small package.

Mike Bennett def. Andy Muscant

After Bennett won the match, Rhino saved Muscant from a second piledriver by dumping Bennett onto the guardrail. This then led to a match between the two.

Mike Bennett def. Rhino

Bennett got his second win of the night after beating Rhino with three superkicks and a Box Office Smash. After the match, Rhino gave Bennett a Gore, Gore, GORE!

Bobby Fish def. ACH

Bobby Fish once again kept his undefeated streak going by defeated ACH with a Head Kick. Some live reports suggest ACH may have been hurt during the match.

Matt Taven def. Kevin Steen

Steen was dominant for most of this one, however the TV Champion was able to pick up the win after putting his feet on the ropes during a rollup, as a result of a distraction by Truth Martini. This then led to our next match.

Kevin Steen def. Truth Martini

Kevin Steen defeated ‘The Poonani Predator’ with a top rope senton followed by a Package Piledriver.

American Wolves def. Jay Lethal & Michael Elgin

The Wolves got a big victory in the main event when Edwards made Lethal tap to a single leg Boston Crab. reDRagon were at ringside during this one.

Night of Hoopla sounded like a lot of fun. Wouldn't be surprised if something like that became an annual thing.
