ROH: Supercard of Honor II
3/31/07 Detroit

C. Daniels + Sydal vs Jay Briscoe + Delirious
Great opening promo with daniels and Briscoe. The match delivered. 3.5/5

Erick Stevens vs Mitch Franklin
This was a squash .25

Nigel vs Chris Hero
Very entertaining angle. This was featured on VH1 for johnny fairplay. solid match 3.0

Jack Evans + Naruki Doi vs. Rocky Romero + Davey Richards
Fast paced action, with a solid NRC segment. 3.5

Brent Albright+Adam Pearce vs Homicide+Colt Cabana

This was a fight. The match started as a singles and turned into a tag, huge brawl in the crowd, where they took out like 3 rows of chairs. Awesome match, i was right in the thick of it. 3.5

Steel Cage Showdown
BJ Whitmer vs Jimmy Jacobs

Crazy ass hardcore match, one of the best cage matches of all time. 4.25/5

FIP Title
Roderick Strong(c) vs Austin Aries

This was a solid match, but after the cage match, and crowd wasn't into it as much. Already a jam packed show, this particular match was good, but more traditional wrestling style. Had some good outside the ring action. 4.0/5

CIMA & Susumu Yokosuka & SHINGO vs Dragon Kid & Ryo Saito & Masaaki Mochizuki -
This match was something else, i have to watch it again to check it is like 4.5 or 5 stars. Some say the original was better, thus making this impossible to get 5 stars, but this one was certainly off the hook. Dragon Kid is awesome. Could be a future legend. Ill say 4.75

Overall: 3.75 stars
Montana's PPV rating 9/10

Seven great matches and a squash. Only thing this show lacked was a ROH title match.

=======================================================

How i rate 5 stars = perfect match

4 stars match of the year contender. (great match)

3 stars average match of the night. (good match)

2 like a tv main event

1 average tv match.

Ring of Honor: Era of Honor

The first show in ROH history, and i figured i would check it out. I thought it would give a better understanding about ROH, and the direction. Its only like 10 bucks and had a few good matchups. The common theme of the show, following the "code of Honor" which is basically respecting your opponents with a handshake.

Da Hit Squad vs Chrisopher Street Connection

This really wasn't much of a match, but more entertainment to hype up the crowd. Da Hit squad looked to be pretty good, but i guess they are gone now.
1/5

Jay Briscoe vs Amazing Red

Good match by two young competitions. A lot of up and down action with Jay doing some great offense.
3.5/5

Xavier vs. Scoot Andrews

Entertaining match, but wasn't really better the first briscoe match.
2.75/5

Boogie Knights vs Natural Born Sinners

Featuring Homicide. I wasnt too into this one.
2.25/5

6 man Joel + Jose Maximo vs Red vs Quiet Storm vs. Chris Devine vs Brain XL

Good highflying match, between a bunch of young guys. Special guest ref for this match too. Way too many arm drags, but still a good match.
2.75/5

Michael Shane (maverick matt bently) & Oz vs. Spanky (brain Kendrick) Ikaika Loa

This was a interesting matchup. Kendrick and Matt showed why they are where they are now.
3.25/5

Super Crazy vs Eddy Guerrero

Thats right, Super Crazy and Eddy in ROH. They put on a good match, but it could have been better. Eddy was mad over with the fans.
3.5/5

Danielson vs Low Ki vs. Christopher Daniels

Great Matchup. These guys put on a show, and really went all out. THe first time these three were in the same ring in a triple threat, and put on argueably the best triple threat ive seen.
4.5/5

Overall 2.8 stars.

Montana's PPV rating 6.5/10

Entertaining show, could have went a little longer. I liked how they cut out the long entrances. I would have liked to seen a little more mic work. Def. worth the 10 bucks. Plus i want to see their next show, so they got the job done.

========================================================

Overall 3.5
PPV rating: 8.75

This was a hell of a show, and it over exceded my expectations. Nothing major happened, but ROH was able to make each match seem important. For Example the first match was Hallowicked earning his spot in ROH, Second match was Jimmy Jacobs return, third was the start of the delirous / Hangman 3 fued. Fourth match was a must win for the reselience, or they would be kicked out of the faction. 5th was Danielson testing the new comer to ROH in pac, One of UK best, and danielson defending his "best in the world" honor. 6th was the Roh Championship, and you get the idea. All in all, This show was PPV worthy in my opinion, and would reccomend the DVD I'd say its a top 5 show this year so far.
