Im fairly new to ROH, I ordered the rising above PPV on friday and was hooked instantly. I have never seen pure wretling this good in years, I know that ROH was around since 2002 but never intended on watchin it beacuse im a WWE fan. Well WWE for me reached a point where I dont even care so much for it anymore, I never hear moves called, never see great matches and all and all im bored and felt like I was treated like a little kid with thoese storylines, I will always be a wWE fan but for buying their PPV, s im about done. So Im asking where is a good point to start in ROH because I konw all the dvds go by chapters, I did get some on the big 10 deal, it was the begining of chapter 7, I got the first 3 titles of chapter 7. Should I just keep going in order so I dont miss out on alot of storylines?

I would make sure to get Good Times, Great Memories because it has Colt Cabana's, Homicide's and Chirstopher Daniels' last matches in ROH. The rest of the card is also stacked from top to bottom.

I would get Joe vs Kobashi for the main event (Though the rest of the card is criminally underrated).

Manhattan Mayhem (The First one) is also a must-buy as is Glory By Honor 5 Night two and Unified.

There's a couple of more that I would recommend, but these are the one I can think of at the moment.

The storylines generally run for 6 months to a year, so if you miss a show in between, you'll be fine. They explain them through the dvd and match too. I generally try and get the "big" shows. Looking at the ten dollar list assuming i didnt have any from ROH I would recommend:

Manhattan Mayhem (argueably their best show)

Fifth Year Festival Finale

Final Battle 03 and 04

4th annivesary show

Hell Freezes over

Heres my top picks, in that order.
