Ring of Honor still has some fight in it, based on Saturday's iPPV. I watched a good portion of the show this morning via the replay and there was a hell of a lot of good wrestling on the show. In some ways, it was superior to the TNA PPV. Jay Lethal vs. Davey Richards was just awesome. Mike Mondo and Mike Bennett had their respective best showings in the company to date. Kevin Steen vs. Michael Elgin was a great main event. All signs are that the iPPV stream was great with very few, if any complaints, that I am aware of. Kudos to everyone involved for getting it right. Now, they have to keep it right. It may take months to fully regain the trust of the fans, but the only way they can do that is to continue what they started this weekend. This show felt like the glory days of the company in terms of work ethic and presentation. Let's hope it keeps going that route, but either way, this show is well deserving of a replay buy. If you order the replay by this Wednesday, you will receive a coupon to buy the DVD of the show for $11. You can order the show at www.ROHWrestling.com/iPPV.
The promotion's officially released numbers are 900 fans in attendance (those there estimated around that number) and "just under" 1500 buys total thus far between live and replays with about 300 comped streams. 350 viewers were first-time purchasers. The company really went out of their way trying to make good with the audience with this event and you have to commend them for doing trying their best in that regard.

The big angle at the end spells the return of El Generico. There's been rumblings of Generico vs. Kevin Steen for Final Battle for a few weeks, so it appears that is the direction. Generico has not signed a new deal here.

Unfortunately, there was a pretty bad injury at the show. Mike Mondo is believed to have suffered a broken tibia in his leg. Doctors in Toronto advised immediate surgery but Mondo is going to return home to Long Island to get a second opinion. No word yet how long he's going to be out.

Truth Martini was also injured, suffering a pretty nasty cut and scrape while taking a bump through a guard rail.

Harlem Bravado suffered a broken nose in his bout.

Jim Cornette was not in attendance at the show. He stopped going to the Canadian events after Canada refused to let him over the border stemming from an arrest from a long-forgotten 1980s fan incident in Jim Crockett Promotions.

ROH will return to Toronto on 5/4/13 at the Ted Reeve Arena. That show will be an iPPV and will go on sale on 10/17 for Ringside Members and 10/19 for everyone.

Set for the company's 11/3 TV Taping in Pittsburgh is ROH TV champ Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly and Michael Elgin vs Davey Richards and more. Those are both rematches of two awesome bouts. They are doing a promotion where the first few hundred fans get to meet the Briscoes for a photo when they enter the building.
