Ring of Honor have announced that their next iPPV will take place on September 6 when they hold All Star Extravaganza VI from the old Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada, continuing their partnership with uStream. There was speculation that like New Japan Pro Wrestling, ROH would cease their relationship with uStream which only began in May for the ROH/NJPW supershows due to uStream’s decision to no longer provider iPPV hosting. It is speculated that uStream were still willing to provide live streaming services at a higher price but that it wouldn’t host the feeds on its website, which is why while uStream will be handling the streaming, ROH will be hosting the iPPV on their website.
This has no bearing on their future in pay-per-view, which is expected to continue later in the year with Final Battle, their biggest show of the year, as ROH only agreed two pay-per-views with PPV providers as an experiment to see how they could do. Best in the World, ROH’s first live PPV is said to have drawn approximately 10,000 buys on PPV alone and that Best in the World drew more in iPPV buys then War of the Worlds and Global Wars which were both iPPV exclusives.

More good news out of the ROH camp. Seems like a bit of a hassle, but better to have a qualified tech provider like Ustream on board than Gofightlive.
