The Ladder War is so innovative, so dangerous, so death-defying and so incredible that ROH officials have decided to ban this type of match. The thoughts among ROH officials is that any athlete competing in another Ladder War would have to take too many extreme risks in order to try to top the "Man Up" one.

"It is a spectacular match," ROH President Cary Silkin said. "There is just no way the "Man Up" Ladder War can be topped and it would be too dangerous to put anyone in a position where they would have to top it. The Ladder War is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of match."

I actually like this. ROH doesn't tend to whore out gimmick matches anyways, and it makes more people want ot buy the PPV because it has ROH's last ladder match. Of course, it wouldn't shock me to see a "Unsanctioned Ladder Match further down the road.

I actually like this move, as it makes more special the Ladder War that has already happened, besides it hypes even more the PPV

Like Icon said, he last ladder match I can remember was between London & Shane and that was how long ago? I really dont care for gimmick matches tbh. I'd rather see a traditional match over a lets say no DQ type of match.

Interesting strategy. Im surprised how much buzz their is about this move. When i first read it i didnt think twice. But ROH is playing it smart in my opinion. d

maybe it's just there to make ladders used more by TAOTF. Because it's banned, and it's a rebellion, it's against ROH, maybe we might actually see more ladders in the upcoming shows.
