"Randy slapped Vince in a bar...End of that story!!"

I would like to think and hope this isn't the reason Vince blacklisted Savage, held a grudge and refused to allow him in the HOF. Perhaps, just a random story and even if this isn't the sole cause, it surely must be one of the reasons.

^No, if he would have decked Vince, I could see Vince forgiving him... but a SLAP? People used to dual after a slap... DEATH!

I believe Piper though... I can't picture Piper not being honest about it. If there's more, IDK, but the "End of that story" part says there's nothing else. The Stephanie story is stupid... she would have been illegal at the time if I'm not mistaken... definitely imagine Vince would have taken Savage to court for that one.

I know the whole meaning of a slap, it's one of the biggest signs of disrespect and it just makes the victim like weak and pathetic. But to hold a grudge against and go as far as Vince has to hold him back from getting the respect he deserves? I don't know about that. Actually no, it supposedly happened in the summer of 1994 where she would have been 17 and on the verge of turning 18. Not to mention, the fact that it would make pro wrestling look back and expose his daughter's personal life for the public to see. Listen to that interview with Lanny Poffo, Savage never even discussed it with his brother and he says he only understood the situation by looking on the internet like everyone else.

Pac seems to think Piper is wrong on this one.

"I respectfully disagree w Roddy. Not that it didn't happen, but its not where the heat came from."

Doesn't matter anymore as his death basically put him on top of the list for next years HOF.
Maybe so, but IMO it's better that he not be in the wwe hof, vince should have put him in for 2011 instead of hbk. shawn could've waited another yr or 2 be put in.
Although i don't seeing him in some kind of hof down the line.

If Piper did say this, I would be inclined to believe it because he has no reason to lie.

If this is just some random person reporting that Piper said it, I would probably question it a little.

Would be easier to determine how true it is if it were said in an interview on a radio show or TV or something, not just some random article that anyone can make up. A link wasn't even provided, either.....where did you get this info from?

I just saw it...not sure what to make of it.....I don't think just a simple slap did it.....if Vince did have accusations about Savage and Stephanie, I would assume that is where the slap came from, or maybe Randy was drunk, but to just randomly slap Vince and have Vince be that mad for that long....ehhh, sounds pretty weak. I think Piper is just giving away part of the story.
