Backstage reports are coming out that the WWE is struggling to find a way to come up with a finish for the main event match at WrestleMania 29 between The Rock and John Cena. According to a March 2nd, 2013 report by F4WOnline.com, there are many within the WWE who feel that John Cena has to get the win but are concerned with upsetting the "millions and millions" of The Rock's fans.

The easy solution to this problem is to not have the two men rematch each other. Unfortunately, the WWE has been set on this rematch probably since WrestleMania 28. The Rock has publicly declared that Cena was the only box office opponent for him.

However, the WWE could have made it a triple threat match with CM Punk as the 3rd man especially after Punk's long reign on top for the last year, which was just squashed by losing twice to The Rock at the last two PPVs. Many fans within the WWE Universe wanted to see this triple threat match. But, like usual, the WWE doesn't listen to their fans.

The WWE has firmly placed themselves in a tough spot. Do they have Cena lose again and make the face of the franchise seem weak or do they have their "mainstream golden child" The Rock lose and risk damaging his crossover appeal?

Due to the current creative course that the WWE is on, the only way to save both men is to have outside interference, which would completely upset the WWE Universe and their critics. Perhaps, a surprise return from Goldberg or both CM Punk and Brock Lesnar teaming up to layout Cena and The Rock.

As I said before, WM 29 is shaping up to be a major letdown and it's no surprise that the WWE brass is in turmoil over this match's outcome.

How do you readers think John Cena will defeat The Rock?

I'd say the bigger problem is nobody wants to see this match again.

Since I'll have to watch this crap anyway, unless it ends with Cena beating Rock to death with a chair and turning heel I don't care.

Sounds like the wwe brass are as stupid as people say they are. Nobody wanted this match, and now they find themselves in a lose/lose situation.

Easy solution is to have Cena lose. Only the little kiddies will be mad. Then you can have him win on raw, or have rock get "injured" and/or "stripped".

+1 on this
I don't think WWE cares about upsetting the "millions". Cena turning heel is going to spike the ratings for sure and I would be shocked if they didn't capitalize on this opportunity
